I want to thank you once again for taking the time to read my piece and provide your extremely thoughtful and respectful comments. It is greatly appreciated. I am amazed at the tremendous response that I have received from Michael Jackson fans around the world. From Bahrain to China and many, many other countries in between, I have been moved to tears by so many of your letters. It is because of you, the readers and your efforts in sharing this article with your friends, families and others who care about the principles that Michael stood for that we have been able to reach such a wide audience in such a short period of time. I can't thank you enough for that and I hope we can just continue with this wonderful, worldwide effort. As you may have noticed today in the news, the U.S. journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling who I mentioned in this article and who had been imprisoned by a repressive regime in North Korea have been pardoned for their alleged "crimes." I am confident that Michael Jackson would feel a small sense of relief to hear this news as he spoke out very clearly against this type of repression and restrictions on personal freedom. Hopefully his words and messages can help prevent these forms of injustice from continuing around the world where many basic rights are denied to citizens. Your efforts in spreading Michael's message are helping move us in this positive direction. Thank you so much for all of your phenomenal work!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to read and write. It is wonderful! As I mentioned in my response to SoCalGal above, as a writer, my goal is to touch as many people as possible with my words and ideas. I appreciate and of course give you permission to pass my piece around to other media sources, news outlets and interested people in the UK and beyond where possible. I welcome both positive and critical feedback from all of those around the world who take the time to read the article.
