I'm sorry, but I refuse to buy into the skin color issue. Fantasia is getting the attention she's getting to her personal life because her personal life has become more of a focus than her music career.

The last album she did wasn't too good, she kept bailing out on The Color Purple and now she's involved in this mess of an affair. If light-skin was a super power, I would be a CEO by now because I am lighter. I am not a CEO, so what happened there?

Being light-skinned doesn't block you from the pitfalls of life as a black man or woman, really your life is much worse as a light-skinned person because people THINK you won't get arrested, will never be out of a job, and never suffer in your life.

Sorry, I don't buy that.

I don't really see why men or women need sex really. There have been plenty of people who are happy who have never done the wild thing in their lives. Are those people normal? No, but they do exist. I seriously think that people would be a lot less miserable about the whole "having it/not having it" when you consider it's importance in the larger context.

In this current economy, with people working longer hours (or none) and hardly any money coming in, I would hardly think a bump and grind session would fix things. Sex costs money; you need to pay for the hotel, the fancy resteraunt, the condoms, the cab to make sure the girl goes home (or man).

Of course I probably don't really believe any of this. Or do I?

I think that's why that sentence of not need sex often comes up -- there's just more important things to do.

Just a couple of days ago someone tried to say that Jordan Chandler, the boy who accused Michael Jackson of molesting him, lied about Michael molesting him. This all came from one blog post that had no sources and no links to other sites. Alot of MJ fans were suckered, including myself, into thinking this was true. For bloggers to be taken seriously, they must come clean with the "where" in their articles.

This update that Twitter has done is kind of a mirror to the complications human beings have with each other when it comes to Communication. We want to talk to each other, but we want to control how the conversation goes. We want to know what each others thinking, but we want to know that what another person thinks is EXACTLY like how we think. The update kinda says ""Your thoughts are not worthy of my eyes".

If that makes sense.
