I have an issue with it. I and a lot of other fans. If he wants hate, he should look to the comments on youtube and other videos. He's TEAM GARRETT, he's a team in and of himself. He doesn't give a shit about the team he plays for, only for what he can get out of them. Maybe that's why we gave up a lot of points over the years he's played for us. He wasn't playing for the Browns, he was playing for Garrett. For stats. Trade him to a loser, get the most out of him. He wants to be on a so called winner, he should go free agent in two years. Anyway, myself and a lot of other fans, want to see him go to what he thinks is a winner, and then see that team flop, and hope he rots there.

If he wants a trade, give him one. But he's in no position to demand we trade him where he wants to go. We have to trade him to where we can get the most in return. So it's in our best interest to trade him to a losing team, one that has low draft picks, like one through ten somewhere. If we trade him to a winner, we'll get a high draft pick, maybe number 20 through 30, not good, and not worth the return. Yeah, we need to trade him to a loser, or if not, trade him to a winner but get a solid blue-chip player in return, all pro for all pro. If we can't get what we want, keep him. If he doesn't play and sits it out in protest, we don't have to pay him, and we save on cap space. That way both lose, Garrett- money, and the Browns- a pass rusher.

I think that is an extremely stupid suggestion. For one, every time Plutko got clobbered, and he was what, like 5 - 7 - 5.50 last year, the fans would see him as Kluber's replacement. Of course, this would give these hack writers a field day of scandal news to write about, like comparing this bad trade with Colavito trade, which was worse? And that's how bad it would be, trading an ace starter for a 240 hitter who gets 20 homers, thought they already had that with Kipnis. We would be laughing stocks of the league, with lines like, "Who would be stupid enough to think they could improve by trading their ace starter, who anchors their rotation, for a mediocre hitter and a so so bullpen guy." Then the hack writers would lead the chant for you, "sell the team sell the team." I fully believe the nonsense articles online here are part of the reason no one shows up to the games even when they are winning the division. These writers haven't got a clue what the Dolans ordered anyone. They're just rumor mongering. If they sell the team, we're gonna be the next Expos.

I'll try to make this one terse. The negative press of the sports writers is one of the main reasons for dwindling attendance, so bad in 2016 was the negative news, one writer calling the season over after Carrasco's injury, that the Indians only drew 1.5 million, were near last in attendance, but came within one out in extra innings of the seventh game of the world series from winning it all. During that world series we had home field advantage, but in spite of that the stands were one third filled with abusively screaming Cubs fans because many of the apathetic Indians fans sold their tickets to the other teams fans. Heck we were about to break a major league record, winning 22 in a row, and we had the stadium only half full for most of those games. When someone buys this team they're gonna want a new ballpark, particularly after 2024. To sum up, we're the next Expos if the fan base remains jaded.

If they sell the team, it will move to a another city. Jacobs bought the team for around 60 million in 1986, and Dolan bought it for 300 million or so about 19 or 20 years ago. It would cost 1 billion to buy it now, 900 million is bottom dollar. What local Ohio investor could afford that or risk that kind of money? It's going to be an out of town buyer wanting to relocate to a bigger market. He's not going to invest a billion dollars in a small market team that drew only 1.5 million fans for its last world series appearance. He would never be able to pay for his investment. But think about it. If the Dolans were really such money grubbers wouldn't they be better off selling the team for that Billion bucks? But they continue to keep it. No, you better hope they never have to sell because major league baseball would approve of a move without blinking an eye. And they're are a lot of cities with bigger markets getting ready to build a new ball park to attract a team. Cleveland's problem will start in about 2024 when the contract with Progressive Field ends. A new owner will demand a new stadium because The Jake will be 31 years old then, and 31 is considered old for stadiums these days. That theoretical owner will use any resistance to building a new stadium for leverage to move.

It has to be at least in the upper 40s or can't enjoy it and if I do smoke in the bitter cold, I end up wasting a good cigar because you can't save the rest for later, from my experience anyway. It wrecks the cigar or taste. So winter kills the smoking.

This whole thing is bothering me. First, there is a big difference between "Listening to offers," and shopping players around. If all the Indians rumors are true, they are not just listening to offers but are actively trying to dump a starter to the highest bidder. I assume they are trying to trade a starter because they believe the division can easily be won. Bad mistake and a bad assumption. Yes, it is a weak division, but any one of those rebuilding teams could surge next year. If we cut big holes in our starting pitching and lose another starter to injury, and maybe a bad season from another starter, and before you know you're short three starters and finishing the year 83 - 79 and the happy to oblige division rival, take your pick (KC Chicago Minn Tigers), wins the division with an 85 - 77 record and we go home with no post season. We need all that starting pitching depth. Never take a division title for granted.

These hack writers talk about the Indians as if they're a rebuilding team. If the Indians trade off Kluber and Carrasco for a bucket of prospects, many that will never pan out, and all of them years off, then they will lose 90 games this season because of too many holes in the rotation, and then scapegoat Francona as the reason for the fall instead of blaming the front office for giving away their best pitching. (Believe me, Clevinger or Bauer will get hurt and Plutko will do a Tomlin and Beiber is still in the mediocre stage, spells weak rotation) They will then hire a rookies manager, get even worse, and then finally become the rebuilding team they aspire to be. But I hope they aren't that stupid as they've shown in the past they aren't. If they are, they can forget about the 90 win central division winner that has only been to the world series once in the last 5 years and drawing only 1.9 million of the jaded fans, because their new 90 loss a year team will be lucky to draw 900 thousand.

Most people play HIGHWAY TO HELL wrong, using power chords instead of the cowboy chords it was meant to be played with, and making it sound crappy by doing so. Another one I'm starting to hear too much is I FEEL FINE by The Beatles. I always hated the song's sissy lyrics, but was always able to enjoy it because of the great guitar riff built around three bar chords. But if you don't know how to palm mute and groove it just right, you can murder that riff real fast, and I'm hearing a lot of people do just that.

People consistently get the average attendance figures wrong for the seasons before 94 or earlier. For example, the Indians 1974 average attendance was 15,000 plus per game. The reason for the 13,000 figure is because the total season attendance of 1,114,000 is being divided by 81 home games. This is because people are using today's standards to calculate the average. The problem is there were only 73 home games or home crowds in 1974 and the same with most teams and sometimes as few as 70. Today a doubleheader is two different crowds for two different games on the same day. They never did that back before the Jake was built. A doubleheader was the same crowd, two games for the price of one. Never were two different crowds used for doubleheaders, so doubleheaders were counted as one game's attendance. There were 73 crowds in the 1974 season because of the 2 games for the price of one doubleheaders, and naturally the doubleheaders were the seasons biggest draws. That comes to 15,260 per game when divided that 73 into the total attendance figure. And that goes for every team, none of them used different crowds for each doubleheader game. All doubleheaders were one crowd and were counted as one game's attendance. That different crowd for each game didn't start till the latter twentieth century. Now the doubleheader meaning has been redefined. Two games for the price of one is all but extinct. It's a shame. I sat in the stadium for many doubleheaders. Usually the first game starting at 1:00 PM and the next game starting within a half hour after the the first one; you usually would then get out of their about 8:00 PM, 7 hours in the stadium for two games, and if the second one went into extra inning, you could end up in their for 10 11 hours.

It will distract from their losing. Now the media will be more interested in how many of them kneel in some imaginary, spoiled, rich boy grand standing in the name of alleged protest than whether they win a game or not. I suggest they move to Cuba or North Korea, where they can kneel down during their national anthem and then get kicked right in the face by a jack boot. This country has done some very bad things during its 241 years, and there needs to be changes, though not the freedom restricting socialism these rich feetball players are thinking of; they are delusional if they think that every time a cop shoots or beats up black man, whether justly or unjustly, is because of racism, because for ever black it happens to at least eight times as many whites get the same treatment, only it doesn't get the media attention, therefore making it look focused on the blacks, when it's not. A lot of these players, such as the Browns Crowell have tried to make all cops look bad as if they are the gestapo. This is prejudice. And it brings unwarranted violence against the police. Crowell should have been traded o\r cut. As for me personally, a big Brown's fan going all the way back to 1964, I can't stomach it any more. I've been a non Browns fan now for the last five days. It's permanent.

Attendance is still a disgrace. 8/21/17 Indians are first place and running with it, world series last year, and they can only get 21,000 for the Monday night game (15,000 empty seats), while the Browns, coming off a 1 - 15 season and 3 - 13 before that, and with players causing a major distraction by kneeling for the National Anthem, draw 62,000 for a pre season game with the giants.

If he can't get hooked up at the local Walmart sweeping floors or stocking shelves, he can always make a sign out of a piece of cardboard saying, "VETERAN NFL PLAYER IN NEED OF FOOD AND MONEY, PLEASE HELP, and stand right at the entrance way to the Walmart parking lot, and don't forget the tin cup for coin donations. Maybe an NFL agent will come by and slip you a sawbuck. There's a lot people struggling in this country right now because of far fewer good paying jobs than ten years ago. Those people are working and struggling to survive, from day to day from week to week.

Martha My Dear really sucks, so does Birthday, and Savoy Truffle. Long Long Long, REALLY REALLY sucks, and Glass Onion sucks too. Sexy Sadie sucks. I'm Fixing A Hole sucks, I'm Only Sleeping Sucks, Love You Too sucks, Here There and Everywhere sucks, Yellow Submarine sucks, And Your Bird Can Sing is average, Dr Robert is average, Taxman is great song, Tomorrow Never Knows is pretty good. Eleanor Rigby sucks, Got to Get You Into My Life sucks, I Want To Tell You suck. I Feel Fine sucks except for the cool guitar riff. Most of the Early stuff sucks. Twist and Shout could hold a candle to the Isley Brothers Version. Their BBC version of I Saw Her Standing There, the unreleased version with the German count in, is far better than the album version. Bad Boy sucks, not even close to the 1959 Larry Williams original. Come Together is great, Oh Darling isn't bad, most of Abbey Road sucks. Most of their songs hold up like a card castle in the wind. At the most, about 40 of their songs still hold up
