My 3 year old loves making the crumble so thoroughly enjoyed the making and the eating of it!

Re:

This so popular facility that there must be alternatives to closing this. Please see my petition at http://www.ipetitions.com/p...

Re: New Library design, a verted ziggurat

Good point about the "Flame of Hope", originally funding by Churches around Birmingham.

Its not had the best history, set up as torch to world peace, it was put out in 2002 through lack of funding. And then even more tragically, a girl was stabbed under it in 2001.

So really a "flame of hope"?

Re: 4.1.4

There is no point in the city being connected to all these high speed links to other cities, if people in the local area cannot connect with these high speed links. For example I live out in Stechford and have lived there for over 9 years. When I first came, there were 4 trains an hour and now we are down to 2 an hour. This is because they have made space for the virgin trains to have slots on my route. Ironically I am unable to make a link with these trains in an easy manner as my train runs quite erratically and gives priority to those trains and I will not be alone. It becomes ironic that I am starting to consider driving my car to New Street or Birmingham international to guarantee a connection with these trains.

Re: To change, you’ve got to change yourself

I was on the stall for Birmingham Friends of the Earth and was amazed to see that West Midlands Network were at a Climate Change Festival giving away things that were promoting their childrens website on non recycled paper and giving away free drinks coasters and mouse mats with little environmental credentials. The worse "freebie" was a plastic pen with bubbles that is just going to Birmingham landfill in the next few months.

That said, I think there are a lot of stalls there that have worked hard on their stalls and to get environmental friendly items and its all about educating the public. So please visit the Climate Change Festival for yourself and you can make your own decision...

http://www.climatechangefes...
