I don't comment often, but I have to say: You have the cutest dog, she's such a pumpkin! In Swedish pugs are called "mops," it makes me laugh every time :) Thanks for sharing.

You totally need to read her next novel, "American Wife." It's really, really good. It's part fact, part fiction about Laura Bush and her life before and during the White House. Really brings a lot of interesting things to light, plus, Sittenfeld is a great author.

OMG. I've become addicted to RR because she's one of the few English language shows on in Sweden in the mornings. Everything else is news. At first she annoyed me, but now it's love, baby.

Btw, Simon's parents just bought me a cookbook in Swedish for my b-day and I've made a few recipes out of it. It's hard!

Also, I'm one of those noobs that walks out of the salon with my hair wet ... heehee. I never blow dry my hair, and I don't really like how it looks. I know, strange.

Omg. Come to Sweden. There are no Wal-marts here. Or Targets. Or any other tacky stores. The biggest store is IKEA, which is sweet. Please come!!!!!

You should come to Sweden! It's much nicer here :) Also, welcome to the not eating meat club! After I stopped eating it, I find myself sooooo grossed out when there's a huge slab of meat on a plate. Ick. Anyway, I don't know if you've stopped eating dairy products too, but if not, you MUST make a quiche. So good. The recipe I have is in Swedish ... but I'm sure you can find all sort of yummy ones on the Internet. I like to make the crust from scratch and then put in artichoke, red peppers, spinach and onion.
