I had always considered McCain as one of the few Republicans that I could possibly vote for on the national scene (though certainly not after the last eight years) due to his overall moderate stances.  When he picked Palin, however, I really lost respect for the man.  Talk about audacity!  Country First!?!?  I hope she does step down (not until I get a chance to see her debate though) for two reasons.  First, because it would show just how much disarray the McCain campaign really is in.
