Saw where we are way back on August 15, 1971 and started to prepare for it. Did not believe then that I would live to see this but knew my children would. We are hurtling towards the precipice now. Gathering speed almost daily. This slow motion train wreck is about to leave the tracks.

Read the original last spring. These are the type of thoughts that lead me to my brief and very cursory look at Trading In The Matrix header post I did for TK on the SOH.

Yo Muck. We had this one flat nailed on my site. Victory lap. had the 440, 450, 455 and 460 calls plus sold the 425/420 bull put credit spreads. Go a LOT of very happy subscribers AGAIN. That makes two large trades as we also had the Oracle puts last month.

SPY Money Machine got whipsawed and had gaps thru the reversal numbers both Friday (to the downside) and today (to the upside). So The Machine is long from SPY 130.08. Often happens prior to large moves. Still "bet" that Friday close will be lower than last Friday's close. however, watch AAPL earnings, Muck. got GOOD reason to believe we see a major top line beat come next Tuesday. Gonna be all over the weekly APPL calls (OTM) on Friday.

When gold first went through $1,000 an ounce and was at $1,005.50 (basis LME afternoon fix), I was told by my private banker in Geneva that that would be the last time you would ever see gold at $1,000 in what is currently constituted US dollars. Pretty bold at the time but this bank has been in existence since 1805. There is a reason they are known as "the gnomes."

Morning, Muck! Looking at this through the wrong end of the telescope, my brother! Gold is just a store of value against the depredations of craven politicians and sociopathic central bankers. To see what is really going on, instead of pricing gold in dollars (or the fiat of your choice) price your dollars in gold. Want to see what a real sham this all is? Take a look at a gold chart priced in Euros. Tell me what you see? roflmao. always a good idea to have on hand the other items you mentioned. Unless you are in an either/or situation!..also, "bubbles" are perceived as being negative....by traders who missed the big move!!!...other than that? How is it going??

Oh, btw. Got a premium swing trader's website coming on line tomorrow, if the river don't rise. Been at work on it for almost a year. Going to be cheap and for those not wishing to subscribe, got some real cool stuff for the visiting trader. Got a state of the art web capture program, got a trader's library with trading books in it by category, world wide econ report calender. Even got a quote of the day. LOL Will let you know with link when it is up. On the paid site section, got SPY Money Machine with daily reversals, section on seasonal trading recommendations, weekly credit options spreads, some equity and equity option directional trades. Also, almost done with something that is wild. Option portfolios that can be mirror traded. Non-directional and managed strictly with the options greeks! Great for the small trader. Returns on these portfolios (length of portfolio life is 3-4 weeks) is nothing short of sensational. Got one more portfolio to forward live test first. Did a 16 month historical back test, 4 months forward non-account testing and Nov is the 3rd month live trade testing. All the results correlate! Good times. Make money!

With you there, Bob. My vehicle of choice was GLD. have the Nov 170, 171 and 172 calls. Each was bought $1 out of the money. Halved the position today for a net double. Like it, like it a LOT.
