Hamilton Bike Share Incorporated does not break even, they are not revenue neutral. 6 rides per bike, per day is the break even point for a non-profit bike-share entity.

I'm wondering why Hamilton Police Chief, Glenn De Caire hasn't publicly stated that he, and his Police force, will fully cooperate with the Special Investigation Unit over this shooting incident? His silence is deafening. If this was a righteous kill, why stay silent on accountability, allowing rampant speculation, as to the motivation of the Police to use deadly force?

The root-cause of this problem is the Young Offenders Act, and it's latest incarnation. You do the crime, do the time, zero tlerance. The Justice system is broken, breaching conditions is meaningless, as there is no cause and effect, like everything else we do it life.

A concussion from getting beaned in the head with a soccer ball? What a load of crap. I watch soccer on television, never heard of a concussion happening in that sport, and they use their heads a lot to smash that ball into the net. This is just another example of school board nonsense, cow-towing to a whiney parent, who should get a job, instead of hanging around the school.

That NANO's poll asks more questions than it answers. The recession has raised doubts among many Canadian's yet they still have faith in government. The responses seem conflicted and the questions staged. All I know is that here in Hamilton there are more cranes in the air than you can shake a stick at. Boom town for us.

Here in Hamilton we are surrounded by NDP members and every month I get a flyer from NDP member Chris Charleton espousing her latest triumph, all Hat no Cattle. Meanwhile suburban CPC member David Sweet brings home the funding for Hamilton infrastructure. I guess suburban Hamiltonian's know who brings home the bacon, unlike the all talk no action respecting the NDP representatives around here.

Brott Music Festival, which is taking place in Hamilton this year from June 13 to August 20, and the
National Academy Orchestra, which is under the auspices of the Festival. The funding will allow the
Festival to enrich its programming and enable the National Academy Orchestra to offer young
musicians 16 weeks of paid training, including experience playing in an orchestra, instruction, and
master classes. The Government of Canada has provided $450,000 in funding to the National Academy
Orchestra under the National Arts Training Contribution Program of the Department of Canadian

Well terry1, PSC went down the tubes and stuck it to their investors. Here's the scoop via Google search (link below to Maclean's Magazine).

And when PSC owned the Taro Landfill I was the only citizen they have ever allowed on the site to take a raw leachate sample from their main well.

According to Dr. Sorger at McMaster this stuff is toxic and is still being pumped into Hamilton's sewer system on the Mountain brow, through the sewage treatment plant, and into Hamilton Harbour. Surreal.

The economy starting to fire on all cylinder has put a mighty gust of wind in Harpers sail, leaving Ignatieff frantically bailing the boat, while the Liberals are wondering what happened? No wonder Ignatieff is hitting the media outlets like a drunken sailor trying to get a word in edge-wise, according to war-room voulunteer Warren Kinsella?

The more someone writes about themselves, and how they see the world, the faster they can be hung with it at a later date, sometimes decades later. When you pick a leader already so long in the tooth, as Ignatieff is, what would you expect, accolades from the sweaty masses? In a vacuum, fools rush in to fill it.

I hope Tim wins and becomes the next Premier of Ontario. Thanks to Dalton we have become a "have-not" province. On top of that the public service has ballooned almost 29% with 56,000 employees making more than $100 thousand a year while ordinary canadians are losing their jobs. Your Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean,

I would like to advise you on the constitutional crisis created by a coalition of political parties in opposition of the elected minority Conservative government.

Therefore, In light of the rampant speculation in the media of these developments, I took some time to read up on the procedure for dissolution of Parliament at your web site.

It seems it's the responsibility of the Prime Minister to come to you and submit an instrument of advice on the matter.

Furthermore, I submit to you that until that happens the 'opposition coalition' has no constitutional standing in the government because it does not include all the opposition parties. This is exclusionary and counter to your mandate to do no harm to the interests of all Canadians and their respective provinces.

Canadians like me, and seniors on a fixed income, have been tightening our belts as best we can and expect no less from the government. For example, my gas bill has doubled so I was forced to turn down the thermostat a bit to off-set the added cost of heating my home in the winter.

Money saved by the federal government could help fund a stimulus package for our faltering economy. Now is not the time for panicky financial decisions and rampant spending nor wholesale replacement of government because the opposition parties don't want to give up their political welfare in the form of a vote subsidy.

This is the issue that caused them to panic, not the state of the economy.

To say this coalition exists because of the lack of a economic stimulus package forthcoming from the elected government is disingenuous at best and venal political self-interest at its worst.

You, on behalf of all Canadians, should have nothing to do with this partisan political hackery.

I would humbly suggest that you should reject this attempt to usurp the elected government of Canada by the New Democratic Party of Canada in concert with the Liberal Party of Canada to the exclusion of the political party that represents Quebec and simply tell our elected Politicians get back to work.
