Thank you for your own efforts. That's what we need, really, people thinking, arguing, agreeing with regards to Baybayin. I set up the website, banyuhay.co.cc in the hope that more and more people are going to be interested, and will later contribute to the issues. If you want, we can create a forum there, or somewhere, dedicated for anything Baybayin. The problem that I see (with regards to standards and conventions) is this: enthusiasts put forward their own ideas (me included) on how we can make the Baybayin updated, but, there is really no argument since there are no users. Even some of the enthusiasts are really "illiterate" in Baybayin. So to counter the shallow directions that baybayin is being dragged to (i.e. mere icons,
decorations, etc), I think it's time for us to actually try to use it ourselves. Thus, the website.

I tried to contact nordenx several times in his blog, but maybe he's so busy. I also invited people from baybayin.com (Christian Cabuay once commented on my blog entry regarding my Baybayin Bible on my personal site), but I'm still waiting for their response.

As for the banyuhay.co.cc, I think we can use it for our present needs. More power to you!

________________________________

Re: Baybayin Typepad No.01

hey guys, im glad to find my typepad being used. and yes, i understand that there is a need to revise the typepad to produce a more traditional script. In the website I built, however, I experimented a bit, making a hybrid baybayin script (by hybrid i mean using other variants to represent foreign sounds). In any case, my point is taken, I believe, let us try to use the script, and maybe someday, we can have a consortium and set standards for Baybayin as used in the internet. do not hesitate to contact me for anything. ᜋᜍᜋᜒᜅ᜔ ᜐᜎᜋᜆ᜔!
