Slaughtered in Mexico is not target practice. Where do you think dog food, glue and a bunch of other stuff comes from? They come from mules, horses and the like. There is nothing that made it OK for them to KILL the mules to stuff them.

I can remember going to the museum of Science and Industry in Chicago as a child. It was the first time I was ever up close and personal with a cow - a live cow that is and I never forgot how I felt. Of course live mules would have meant costs for the museum.

That is just disgusting and there is no excuse for what the museum did. I guess there are naive individuals out there, according to the comments, who think that when mules, horses, cows, donkeys, etc get old they are retired and then buried which is not reality either. But to purchase two live animals that could easily have at least five good years left and kill them just to stuff them, well that's no different than the trophy hunter who kills just for the heads. You won't see me supporting that museum.

This is why you should register your show, movie, play ideas with the Writer's Guild of America before shopping your story ideas around. That helps protect your idea. It's one of the things I do before talking publicly about an idea.
