One difference is that, while the benefits are poorly distributed, Americans have generally done pretty well by their empire. They also have a functioning electoral system (except for the recent vote fraud, which is being fixed). Even if we don't agree with their politics, they generally get the results they want. Canada is marginally better (and Trudeau will be gone in 2025, with the main damage being loss of freedoms, not death and misery). The other difference is that leaving the current elected representatives, whether Canadian or American, in place doesn't mean a large proportion of the people are going to die, or have their lives ruined. Yours are. It is a completely different level of danger, and anybody paying attention can see that. Have fun with your choices, or lack thereof!

Re: I have never in my life seen a police officer beat a pallbearer

Thanks!

Re: Carbon wallet

"Judge who approved FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago once linked to Jeffrey Epstein" (Devine/Moore/Chamberlain). There is a work-around by taking a screenshot of the tweet and putting the twitter link as a link to the image of the screenshot.

Re: Next year’s winner in the Eurovision Song Contest

I am not sure this is fair to him. He concludes:
"It appears that that is what we need to re-find: humanity. Simply, the space within ourselves that binds us to other people. Normally, people will recognize that concept. But not today -or in 1944. If you live in a country whose government supports Israel in its efforts to kill babies and entire populations, what are you supposed to think? That you must support your government? Most people would be inclined to say yes.
But how about the babies? C’mon, I am convinced that 99% of people are much better than this. They just have to learn to stand up."
What he appears to have missed is that the people are standing up, but the corrupted 'leaders' simply don't want to hear anything that would interrupt their shekel flow.

Re: Everybody has a price

Yes. Unfortunately, the only cases where non violence has worked are cases where the Powers That Be have had their own reasons to want the change. Those cases are rare, as the Powers That Be have almost always set things up the way they like. The massive problems we face in the West turn on the fact that the billionaires, and (((billionaires))) have no fear of the people.

Re: Undermining the economic integrity of 'Israel'

How is an Israeli in Epstein's circle, who took money from him, 'uninvolved'?
