I, too, watched the edited versions of the show and got into it. I watched the first movie, and because of the edited show, I had NO idea that the movie would be so graphic. I won't be watching the 2nd. I just liked the girls and their shoes/clothes, but not enough to engage in the 2nd movie!

A girl in my beginner's sewing class just last night said that the chick at JoAnn's who was cutting her fabric told her she COULDN"T buy flannel or cotton for pajamas for her kids...um, I'm sorry, but what the heck?!?! What are they supposed to wear? Silk?

I'm going to pray for ya.Life can just kinda be sucky sometimes, and girl, I totally get that. I was very emotional/weepy this weekend, and not exactly for the reason most are this time of the year. SOmetimes you just need to feel that sad, know that the pain is real, even when you can't see it or identify it even, have a good cry, then go to sleep. ;) And I know that the sleep part doesn't always fix it, either. So, I'm gonna pray for ya.

I'm just learning, as in the last few months, and this past week I just made my first item all by myself- with no teacher or pattern: http://mandiesmumblings.blo... I am absolutely LOVING it! I wouldn't say that I'm drawn to the simpler things in life, but I really just love fabrics and designing and putting my own thoughts into making something completely unique and mine! :) Love the sweet outfits you've shown here! :)
