Do you think she only curls the ends of her hair because otherwise it would be too much of a big southern blowout? Or maybe this is just her thing? I shall practice restraint on my next hair curling mission and try to keep it to the ends.

Just the other day my sister made a face at my new awesome calf height distressed brown boots paired with black leggings and I just looked at her and said SCUSE, we don't do matchy matchy anymore. :)

I cried a little reading this. But in a kind of sensitive way.

Yesterday would have been my parents' 41st anniversary, so my sister and I took my mom to dinner. Your name actually came up! My mom said that she feels like she might take her wedding rings off at some point in the next year, and mentioned how she always planned to give them to me. (She's already given me my dad's wedding band). Anyway, I mentioned how you wear your dad's band still, and the story behind it.

I told her that probably when she takes them off I will be ready for marriage and family, so hurry it up already. :)

I do like white but it's impossible to wear, both because of stains and really, when is it appropriate? Hardly ever. I bet this dress would be great in a really bright green or orange.

Oh those people...........I can't think of anything I hate more than nepotism. You will hear those who benefit from it claim that their admission is helpful to the school, because their parents donate, blah blah ad nauseum. Can't the same be said for the benefits of a multiracial, if not multi-class, student body? Too bad most people can't see their own privilege.

I've only been to LA once and I actually really liked it. Weather was great, food was lovely and healthy, the people were nice.....all in all not too shabby.

One of my coworkers has that dress and it is adorbs. Can be dressed up or down, love it.
