It's now *legal* for doctors to *lie* to women. When is it legal for doctors to lie to men? *Never*. Even if it's for their own good. This was, for a long time, the argument for women to wear heels all day while waitressing or at the office, despite back and knee injury. Because cultural values have shifted to caring about health a little more, it is now acceptable for women to wear flats and more comfortable shoes (see Danksos, a clog that's become increasingly popular among those who spend all day on their feet like nurses, waitresses, etc.).

For first impressions (I'm assuming the euphemism is for interviews), sure, bring a briefcase. But for all the businessmen you see around Bellingham, who are going to their jobs everyday, working with people who are hopefully judging them based off their value to the company and not how they look, a more health-conscious choice seems to be the only one that makes sense.

Now, I think the laptop/backpack market needs to experience the same transformation the shoe industry went through, and come out with some more professionally-accepted bags that look good without wrecking people's backs. After all, wearing a suit makes one look good without compromising one's health.

Re: twoplustwoequalstumblr - Fireworks in San Francisco

well come on, the whole point of fireworks is to listen to them, right? the glowy clouds are just a side effect.

Re: Claw Marks in the Frozen Peas

Really?
