Hi, yes all of them are blocked but there are ways to get around them. Although can't really post them here. Uhm people here have Chinese versions of every site you mentioned so you might want to save asking the locals how they can survive without them. Don't worry it's not as bad as you think. I love it here! :)

Hi, I did notice them selling some stuff from last year but it's not really a big sale. They usually have sale when the season changes like summer to autumn or something like that. If you're in a rush, I'd suggest going to superbrandmall, since all the labels are there in one place unlike in huai hai where you have to walk a lot. :)

Hi there, of course there would be less people on weekdays. But weekends are not that bad, especially if you go there before lunch time. :) I think there's a metro that goes straight there. Line 10. I forgot the name of the station though. Sorry.

Well, it's certainly warm nowadays although at night time I wish I brought a cardigan or something. I guess leggings are okay if you are indoors and the place is air conditioned, otherwise it can be a bit warm.

Shopping Areas:

Branded - Superbrandmall, Huai Hai Road and Xintiandi
Local Shops - Taikang Lu
Cheap - Qi Pu Lu
For Guys - Have no idea, uhm superbrandmall carries men's clothes too
Local Food - there are so many, plus, the names are in chinese so I really can't write it down for you. You can choose on the listings found on cityweekend.com.cn - just click on shanghai.

Hi Zarny, I think dami naman pinoy in Shanghai. Especially now, you can simply go to Luneta Restaurant and surely you would get to see Pinoys there lalo na pag weekends. Goodluck! :)

Hahaha, msyado busy with work, I don't think anybody would be interested hearing how messy my desk was lol. I just thought the little girl was cute because she's wearing the costume of the Shanghai expo, and I tried to take her picture, luckily her dad was nice enough to pose but she got shy I think haha.

Yeah a light jacket should be enough, although, it did start to rain already. It's not that cold, it's just a bit windy.

Hi Fran, yeah they're funny and I'm happy they treat me just like a neighbor. I don't feel like a stranger anymore in this community. Lol! It would be nice to be able to play mahjong with them though. That would be cool. :)
