Hey Conrad, Thanks for the nice comment. The bluish grey is 100% shale from an old brick plant near Kilkenny, Ireland.

Not enough space for another handle like this one. A couple of fingers in the drain hole might help when lifting, though. And we tried rubber bumpers, but they don't stay on. I've thought about drilling holes in the foot and undercutting the holes and filling with silicone - making my own bumpers which wouldn't come off.

Dave,

I remember Howard Dean. I would have been a camper when he and Rick were there. I remember my brother, Randy, learned a lot about fishing from Rick. I don't think I ever had Watson or Dean as a counselor. I remember I had Chapman as a counselor. What does Howard Dean do in Atlanta? It would be fun to have a reunion some time.

Yeah, the complete opposite of what Levi and I experienced at the end of the firing. We had a firebox full of embers, and the temperature was even front and back. Our kiln has quite a strong draw, I think.

Thanks Hollis. Previous firing was the most even we've had. Cone 11 in the back and 13 in front. We ran out of wood with this firing. Whoops.
