One of the highlights for the past few days has been watching the nightly telecasts of the Paralympics including track, cycling and swimming. The overtime men's basketball game last night between Great Britain and Germany was both excellent basketball and compelling drama. It should be unfathomable, but unfortunately it's just sigh inducing to observe from afar NBC/Comcast's myopia and callous disregard for athletes, many of them Americans, whose achievements are much more deserving of being called "heroic", unlike the ad nauseum use of the word during the regular Olympics. Americans, you're missing a great show.

Re: Like Web Video, but With a Budget and People You’ve Heard of–Kiefer Sutherland Jumps From “24″ to “The Confession”

Here's the first trailer from "The Confession" site on Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/The...

Re: Kiefer Sutherland on Hollywood Now this Thursday, 6:30 pm EST!

Welcome to the chat world Kiefer! In some other interviews, I've heard you say both that you're an "easy scare" and that you have a hard time watching yourself on screen. So................. have you actually seen (or do you intend to see) the movie? Does being part of the creative process make it easier because you know the "how" of it or are you still able to suspend your disbelief?

Re: Kiefer Sutherland on Hollywood Now this Thursday, 6:30 pm EST!

Hi Kiefer. This is Margaret in Fort Worth. I know that Mirrors was filmed in Romania which is a country that has not seemed to experience as much of a renaissance as other former Soviet bloc countries. I was wondering what your impressions of the country are after filming there. Also, as it relates specifically to Mirrors, would you talk about some of the advantages and disadvantages of having filmed there? Thanks. I'm really looking forward to the 24 prequel movie. It's an incredible and unexpected gift.

Re: Kiefer Sutherland on Hollywood Now this Thursday, 6:30 pm EST!

Kiefer, Thanks for taking the time to do the web chat. You've been an executive producer on 24 for several years. But I think, for MIrrors, this is the first time you've been an executive producer for a feature film. Alexander Aja said about you in an interview in terms of your role as a producer, "He was really protecting us. He was really like the Godfather of the movie. It was a way to be sure we were delivering exactly the movie we wanted to see and not anything else." Could you speak a little about your role as a producer for this film?
