I think not having any hunky dudes or sexy women is just as easy a compromise. And cheaper. Why spend money on dancing people when you can up the food budget? Bonus: you escape scrutiny regarding your perceived insensitivity to an issue many people have exclusionary and derogatory.

I've had my Lumia 950 for about 10 days. After day 3 or 4, the Verge's "WP is dead" article hit and it got me thinking about the app gap and all the other things that irk me about the state of WP. I had the creeping sense of FOMO and almost went back to the store to get that damn iPhone.

I slept on it and the next day, I realized that I would have sense of FOMO if I had an iPhone, cause I'd be bugged to miss out on all the things happening with Microsoft services and WP.

My fear of missing out would be greater looking back on my WP days then there are now, looking at the other platforms.

For everything going wrong, this is still an exciting time for WP. I'm sticking around. I like the uniqueness of my device, the bells and whistles that set it apart.

I'm happy.

I'm very disappointed. I have a family on Sprint, a great legacy data/voice plan, and little incentive to switch carries when I look at the various plans among other carriers. It simply doesn't make sense for me to switch, so the lack of WP stock on Sprint makes it really hard to remain a fan/customer of Microsoft.

I use the third-place OS on the fourth place carrier. I wish I could I bounce between the various carriers or devices, but it just doesn't make financial sense.

I'll keep on with my aging Samsung Ativ S Neo, although I doubt I'll be able to even get a Windows 10 upgrade on it, but not for too much longer.

These rumors of a Surface phone don't help either. I can either wait for that and hope it hits multiple carriers, deal with what I have and hope for Lumia to get new carriers, or simply switch.

I use edge on my Surface Pro 3 for my "on the couch" browsing. But when it comes to work, I'm still using Chrome on my work Dell laptop.

Bookmark management is a big issue for me when I work. Being able to rename my bookmarks or to eliminate the name all together. That's REALLY tough to do in Edge.

Plus, I can't believe annotations can't simple be saved as a jpeg/png file. I'd use it all the time for the drawing bits if I could easily export the image to a file that I can then share with my team in Slack or Trello. Getting a picture now is like a 5 step process. Bleh.

I don't think that's 100%, but I'll take your word for it. I amend my statement by saying that my PC runs the app in my browser better than it seems to run as a standalone app.

I've stopped using the app and I've started to use the web player instead. Its faster than the desktop app. All the UI in the world won't fix a slow, crash prone app.

I'm using them. They work great actually. I was a little surprised how well put together the feature is. I've been using it to group apps I use for work (Office, planning poker decks, trellow), Music (Beats and my fav playlists), and messaging (all email, txt, and FB messenger). So far, so good.

I'm super bummed about all these back pedals because I'm really proud of Microsoft for trying to take computing into the future. They recognized they were losing market share and acted bold to win some back. And as per usual, everyone shit down their throats. Microsoft is the charlie brown of tech, everyone keeps sweeping the football away at the last second.

My ire wasn't at the religion, it was directed at the fact it was an odd coincidence to see all at once for my Facebook feed. I would have reacted the same way if everyone mentioned how good their lasagna was that morning.

It's a good point. A college degree isn't too dissimilar in importance as a high school degree these days. It gets you to a higher level, but graduates are a dime a dozen. Some diversification would help the market.
