I honestly don't know what they should have done. I know that McCain was trying to use it as an election ploy but it didn't work. Now he is down in the poles 6-10 points and is actually behind in FLORIDA!!!!!!!!! Surely the American people are smarter than to elect McCain. I think they/we are.<br>How many of you are watching the VP debate tomorrow night? I'm not. We're not electing a VP. We're electing a president so we really have no choice. Neither Biden nor Palin is on the ticket. <br>Anyway, God bless Barack. He is the only chance we have to get some respect back in this country and to help the American people. Where do you think most of the US senators live? <br>They have residences in their home state but they live in Washington DC. Check it out. Republican or Democrat I only know of one who goes home each night and that's our next V.P. Joe Biden. The takes the train to Del. each evening and back in the a.m. He had to do this after his wife was killed because he had two young boys to take care and he did take care of them. <br>As far as Dole goes, she was raised in NC but has been in DC for years and years and years. <br>As far as the election goes, I can only pray for our country and to tell you the truth, that is exactly what is wrong with the US now.
