Doesn't matter what the military uses- or anybody else. It's what the local law says that's the issue. Without reading the actual statute, we can't generate an informed opinion.

And when I went through firearms training, "locked" meant "safety on", "loaded" was "magazine in", and "charged" was "chambered"

Maybe she lost in spite of Russian help?
She rigged the primaries
She cheated in the debates
She sent a ringer into the GOP race - somebody could either beat easily or who would throw the race.
She had the whole-hearted support of the primary media outlets
She had the support of the incumbent
She spent over a BILLION dollars on her campaign

And she STILL lost. That alone should tell you just how awful she was as a choice.

Why would Putin prefer her to Trump? You people on the left are constantly complaining he won't sit still, jumping all over the place.
Clinton, on the other hand, had already sold him 20% of our uranium and ( arguably) received multiple millions from him while she was still SecState

one, Trans surgery is ELECTIVE, the other medical expenses referenced are not, so false comparison
two, it has NOTHING to do with the 'worthiness' or capabilities of the individual in question
three, Viagra is a) a blood pressure medication and b) the vast majority of those prescribed for either ED or Hypertension are veterans and dependents, not active duty. Another false argument
four, pre and post op therapy takes, on average, two years. That's two years where an individual is carried on the roles of a unit - while they are elsewhere, making somebody else carry their load.
five, since the conversion is elective, I strongly object to it being done on MY dime.
six, no matter what Joe Everyman thinks, gender dysphoria is classified by the medical profession as a mental illness. Established mental illness is one of the many reasons individuals are not permitted to serve
seven, as others have pointed out, our military is NOT a social experiment.
eight, Obama's waiver allowed one of the smallest minorities on the planet to bypass half a dozen good reasons to block an individual's enlistment. If he was so concerned about anything other than politics, why didn't he also allow - say - diabetics the same right? They have FAR fewer problems than Transgendered.

i could go on.

it boils down to Obama made yet another screamingly stupid policy decision, and we're having to deal with the aftermath

While the points raised are important, the real killer to their argument is medical. There are any number of medical disqualifications.
The one that applies here is "regular regimen of medications required to stay alive or healthy".
Pre/post op transgendered require a constant regimen of hormones to stay healthy.
No different from insulin-dependent diabetics.

It's not because they are unworthy or less capable. It's because the military cannot guarantee availability of their needed medications in a hot zone.
This makes any of these individuals a walking casualty.

I disagree with those who feel Delta should not have responded publicly. CotR pointed out Coulter's following is huge.

And, if Delta is to be believed ( and I've seen nothing that says they shouldn't be), Coulter went off on a tantrum for HOURS. Blasting the company and people indiscriminately.

Calling her on it publicly shows They DO support their employees.
Since Coulters attacks were very public, their defense had to be, as well. Else it would've appear they'd plead "no contest"

I think Coulter handled this HORRIBLY from the get-go. 1) she still got where she was intending to go. 2) her legroom was not affected ( I'm 6'6" - legroom is one of the reasons I don't fly). And, most importantly, 3) apparently made no effort to resolve her complaint via customer service.

It's bad enough when anybody behaves like this, but when a fairly prominent figure explodes all over? Unconscionable.

Even worse, she was acting like we expect liberal snowflakes to act.

Not professional at all.

It's certainly true where Trump is concerned. Even Harvard - not known for its right wing tendencies- has pointed out that the MSM has been virtually 100% anti trump.

let me start with a small side issue: the naked baby "artsy" photo is not a new thing. It's been around just about as long as photography. History matters.

other than that, I pretty much agree. I have pics of my kids in the bath taken when they were very young... call it less than four years of age. Notice, I've not posted them, either. They are MY memories. They (should) mean nothing to anybody else. If I think my parents would be interested, I'd have given them copies (actually, I did for a couple of them)

Once a child is capable of bathing himself, the parent has no real business being in the room with him. Certainly, photographs are uncalled for. Emailing those photos is careless. Posting them on social media? Incredibly stupid.
