Some rocket scientist decided what we do is not "worth" much and decided to heavily discount our product. As if it were not enough or bad enough already. Now the entire radio community participates because everyone is afraid if they do not do it there will be no money left in the first quarter. When I hear the acronym CAS I throw up a little in the back of my mouth.

Re: River, KBSX snag BOB honors

Nice job Ken and Tim. Nice to have the other three letter name replaced!

Re: Wild parties down with KF-95’s old boombox

It is called an Ipod dock. They sell them at Walmart and Best buy. Today and in this decade and funny...they look like boom boxes.

Jim I guess maybe we should tell the dozens of people gathered around watching Wild's live mixers every night at the fair that it is old and dumb. Kindo of like radio. Hold the phone though(another dated invention) in Apple's improvements to the the 5th generation Ipod they just included an FM tuner. Hmmmm........... makes you wonder.

Re: Impact doesn’t think Virus name is a problem

Must be football season. The armchair quarterbacks are here. Trade Marking is about intellectual property and copyrights have always been about artistry. My second point is this. If Impact gets a court order to change it who cares? We have all seen thier ability over the last year to make ice cream out of curdled milk. You think they WANT to avoid publicity? It is all free! Thirdly, even though I personally think the format is a train wreck, why are all of you professed radio lovers lining up in a public forum to throw a fellow broadcaster under the bus for undermining satellite radio? Hello? Satellite radio? We have been fighting that since the conception and inception. Fact is it is subscription radio and this is free. Seems defendable to me if you have the pockets for it.

Re: Deeds plays white blood cell, attacks “The Virus”

Wow! Great comments from a media that caters to 55+ adult readers. I'm sure the 18-49 or 18-34 rockers will really take what Deeds says as gospel. Hey is'nt Deeds a regular on a Journal station?
