I could only listen to Karel for about 45 minutes yesterday and then turned off the station to listen to something else (but back at 6pm to listen to Mike Malloy). Do you really want to turn off listeners (who will not listen to the ads)? I didn't think I would miss Ed Schultz but I do. He obviously has a devoted fans. Please leave Randi Rhodes from noon-3pm. Love Thom whenever. Love Mike Malloy. I know being a program director must be extremely difficult but is putting Karel (what's with that one name??) during such a high profile time slot really the mark of a savvy PD?

Re: Blog - Green 960- Your progressive community

Yes, what is it about those irritating drop-in commercials???

Re: KKGN-AM Admin

I don't know why you're fiddling with the line-up again. I really love it as it is. I listen to almost nothing but Green 960 during the week and it works quite well with my work schedule. Love the Randi Rhodes noon-3pm time slot. Love the Mike Malloy 6-9pm slot. Love Thom Hartman from 3-6pm. I kind of tolerate Ed Schultz's slot because it works with what I'm doing then. Why oh why must you make changes AGAIN????

Re: KKGN-AM Admin

I don't know why you're fiddling with the line-up again! I really love the current line-up, particularly during the day. I'm dreading some horrible changes. I barely listen to anything else BUT Green 960 when I'm working and I look forward to my weekdays because of this. Randi Rhodes from noon-3pm is just great. Love the new Mike Malloy slot from 6-9pm! I kind of tolerate Ed Schultz but that time slot fits in with what I'm doing then. I know that you've already made up your mind. But why oh why must you once again make changes????

Re: Blog - Green 960- Your progressive community

I REALLY wanted to hear Thom Hartmann's 3rd hour today and wasn't able to do so because of the new line-up.

Re: Blog - Green 960- Your progressive community

I agree with what others have said: 1) Leave Thom Hartmann's entire 3-hour show in the 9am-noon slot. He is a big brain and is best received early in the day. Also, since there are no podcasts of his show, we can no longer here his 3rd hour. 2) Move Ed Schulz's show to the 4-6pm slot. I don't like him at all! 3) I never listen to Rachel Maddow's show now as it is just a re-play of the previous MSNBC show which I never miss. Love the Randi Rhodes noon-3pm slot!

Re: Blog - Green 960- Your progressive community

How about giving Jeff Farias a slot? Love his show! Though he'd have to tell his callers not to swear when they call in, which they do now because currently his show is only on the net.
