Try creating Groups with the "Groups" menu on your Dashboard, instead of signing up for new accounts. If you need any of current tumblelogs converted to Groups, feel free to contact support. Hope this helps!

The folks at Disqus are currently porting comments to the new URL scheme. Sorry for the interruption. This was entirely our oversight. It should be wrapped up tonight.

As for the bookmarking services, they'll scan our permanent redirect headers when they sweep for dead links. If it's important to maintain legacy permalinks for a particular widget (like Digg), you can explicitly use the old URL structure in your theme like:

Just to confirm, you're pasting the embed code into the Source Editor (HTML button)?

It looks like it was still having problems in some versions of IE. Please try it now and see if the problem persists.

The editor shouldn't be stripping STYLE or CLASS attributes. We're not able to reproduce the issue in Safari. Can you try refreshing the edit form and see if the problem persists? Also, what version of Safari are you using?

Hi, Deuts. There isn't any formal timeline for adding a search feature to tumblelogs.

However, you can paste a third-party script in your tumblelog's Description that will add a search feature for your tumblelog.

An example of such as script is the Google Custom Search Engine. You can learn more about it at http://www.google.com/coop/....

You can create a Public Group under your account that acts much like a second tumblelog.

To create a Public Group:

* Go to your Dashboard.

* Click on the Groups menu and choose "Create a group".

* Give the Group a name, specify that you want the Group to be Public, specify a web address for the Group, and click the "Create group" button.

* You will now be able to post to either your existing tumblelog or your new Public Group. And, your posts to the Public Group will be viewable at the web address that you specified.

* You can then add Members to the Public Group by clicking the button in the upper right corner of the screen that says Members and has a head silhouette. You just type in their email address and click the "Invite to this group" button.

* The other person will get an email with a link that lets them join your Public Group. If they already have Tumblr, your Group will just appear in their Groups menu. If they don't already have Tumblr, they will need to sign up for a free account before they can join the Group.

* All Members can post to the Public Group. Members will be able to remove their own posts, but not the posts of others.

* When you create the Public Group, you will be the only admin. This means only you can invite new users, remove existing users, and delete group posts by any Member.

* You can use the Members area to promote a Member to admin so they have the same abilities as you do. But, be aware that once you make someone an admin, you will never be able to take away their admin rights and you will never be able to remove them from the group.

If a Public Group won't meet your needs, you can log out using the "Log out" option under the Account menu if you want to create a second tumblelog using a different email address.

Hello! The code goes in the Description or, if your theme doesn't include the Description field, it goes in the Custom HTML. It doesn't go in the Custom CSS. Hope that helps!

First, make sure you are confirming your tags before saving the post. You must type a Return or a comma after each tag to confirm the tag. Confirmed tags display in green boxes. Once all of your tags are confirmed, then you can click the "Create post" or "Save changes" button and your tags will be saved.

If that doesn't help, please give me the permalink URL for the post so I can research this a bit. If you don't want to post the URL here for any reason, you can email it to support@tumblr.com.

Are you using Custom HTML, even if by accident? If so, I would save a copy, revert to a built-in theme, see if that helps, and if it does then add your customizations back one at a time until you isolate the problem.

This can be done by going to the Dashboard, clicking the Customize link, clicking the Theme tab, saving a copy of your Custom HTML, clicking the "Disable custom HTML" link, and clicking the "Save changes" button.

only storing a single (big) size, you should handle the resizing inline.
