When we first go our GPS my husband nearly drove me crazy with it by mapping out every place we went, even though we already knew how to get there. I have to admit, though, it can be very handy when going somewhere you've never been before.

Why not use something like Kristin has to hang on the wall. That way if you decide that isn't a good spot for the chalkboard it's easy to move without having to repaint the whole wall. Just a thought.

What is my life saying today? That's a deep question. For a while now I've been struggling with my (almost) 4yo son. In the midst of all this I had another baby, a girl, so of course I have to spend a lot of time tending to her. I try to spend some one-on-one time with my son while baby girl is napping but it just doesn't seem to be enough. He probably needs more physical activity. Some days, by the end of the day, I'm so frustrated with him not listening & obeying that I'M crying. I yell - alot - & I hate that. I don't feel like I've figured out the right discipline to get through to him. He isn't being particularly bad, most of the time, it's usually just annoying stuff. The past couple of days I've been reminding myself that God has given me exactly what I asked for. I want to enjoy these days while my kids are young. I want to figure out how not to yell. Sorry to go on so long. This is just something I'm struggling with.

I try to fix a home cooked dinner for my family every evening at least during the week (we eat leftovers on the weekend).

Or how about drawing little pictures on them like a ghost, a cat, & a pumpkin during Halloween. A cross, a rock, & a lily for Easter. A candy cane, a star, & a stocking for Christmas. The possibilities are endless. Very cute. I need to do more with my chalkboard paint.

Heading to Ohio for a family reunion for my husband, an 8+ hour drive with 4 adults & 2 children. Ugh!

You have no idea how badly I needed that. It's only 8:30am & I'm already having issues with my almost 4yo son. We're going to start this day over & maybe we'll have a good one. That letter makes your daughter sound quite wise for her age. I bet you're very proud of her. It also shows that your parenting is working. Keep up the good work. God bless!
