Socialists believe (like Communists) that the reason their policies havn't worked yet is because the wrong people are/were in charge of them. They refuse to believe the fact that it's the policy itself that is the failure and not the people.

Not sure about the follow-through logic on EMB's comment, but I agree that it makes it harder for a maniac to take out a crowd if the crowd has the chance to fight back.

It's no coincidence that mass-murder attacks happen in no-gun zones.

Did you purposefully misread this post James or are you simply upset that Woman's day wasn't the warm-fuzzy for everyone?

I'm sorry that all the nice comments by women over the weekend didn't help any of the dead, but that's the way it is. If you'd care to reread the post, you'll see that it is not a polarizing issue, unless of course you belong to a society that treats women like dirt (as you don't). This post was about the bad things that are happening in the women in parts of the world that do NOT celebrate Woman's day.

And what the f#ck have the 'unions' done for women? (I'll agree that feminists have made a total mess out of basically everything, but the unions havn't fixed anything).

That does seem to correctly identify the way the Democrat delegates work (or you could have just used the phrase I put in the post :)

The Republican delegates are required to vote for their pledged candidate on the 1st ballot, but after that are free to vote how they want.
