Oh I'm so happy to read this review!! I've been seeing the previews and got so excited about this movie... Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan in the same film? YAY! Then I read two reviews that were so very bad, so you made my day! (Of course, I never listen to reviews when making my movie choices, but I get disheartened by the bad ones.)

I do like that song by The Script - I'm gonna have check out some other tracks.... Chromeo, definitely downloaded that one, niiiiiiiice.

That last track by mykronos reminded me of some of the music my parents listened to in the 70's, interesting sound!

If I remember correctly, the book didn't payoff well with Dumbledore's death either. I remember being disappointed by that. BUT, you understand more in the next book, thus hopefully the next movie!

I haven't seen this movie yet, maybe this weekend. Can't wait! I've heard several say it's their favorite so far. They've all done her books justice, so hopefully this one does too.

I can't believe how little rain we're getting for a monsoon season... All this humidity and no payoff. Thankful the floods aren't happening like usual, but wow, could we use a drink!

OMG! I like The Donnas - they're debut album had a song titled "Take It Off" that I just love, and the whole album has that bad-girl band sound, with a big stripe of rock down the middle. It's all good driving stuff... Glad they're still making music, their sophomore album didn't impress me as much. This track - yeah, adding it to the car tunes list.

The Bird and the Bee, as well as Vampire Weekend - downloaded both of them as well. I really dig your taste in music...

Deadmau5 has a really, really nice sound. I didn't download any of it, because I have a hard time listening to music without words (that whole attention span thing, LOL). I'll have to ponder it a bit more and maybe come back to it. :)

Oooooo this version of Fast Car is good. I am picky about remakes, but Two Seconds Away did it real justice. Nice!

The Black-Eyed Peas grew on me - admittedly I wasn't a fan for their first album until it was not on the charts anymore- but I think I'm gonna download this whole album, because so far everything I hear on it, I dig.

Thanks for sharing the music!! Love hearing about what's in your earbuds!

They've been talking about this since the mid-80's, at least... I'd really like to see them actually break ground and make it happen. For commuters I could really see the benefits considering gas prices, wear and tear on the vehicles, etc. Think of all the reading one could get done vs. driving? I do think it's a step in the right direction.

On the other hand - we west coast people take to communal transportation a bit differently than say, someone from NYC. You know what I mean? Look how the Monorail is doing - I don't know that anyone saw the utter failure it has been so far. Besides, places to go are so spread out here vs. cities in the East.

I have a question... cause I'm surfing Masterbeat right now, and I can see where I could spend a lot of time here... do you know if the music you purchase has any DRM attached to it?

... I found the answer in their FAQ, it's DRM Free. That's awesome. The bonus to Amazon is that it will add your purchased music to iTunes automatically, where as Masterbeat doesn't. But I'll have to test it - try looking for some way obscure stuff that Amazon may not have - if it does, I'll be sold!!

I'm gonna have to check out this Masterbeat.com (ok, I'll admit, I giggled when I read that). I haven't listened to "free" radio for many years... I prefer Sirius satellite radio, because they have such a variety of stations, and I tend to be eclectic in taste. Often I'll hear something I like and head over to Amazon.com to download it. I believe I am more mainstream than you are, but I just like whatever sounds good, ya know?

Blip.fm is something you turned me on to, and I thank you... I love the whole idea of sharing what I like and seeing what others are listening to. I have found some great new tunes that way. :)

LOL I just read your comments... true, I've almost been hit more than once! But glad I found a bike trail around this way. I'd love to ride my bike to work - but I live 24 miles from the office (one way). It's dangerous, true - but one of the best forms of exercise! I still can't believe you actually got pulled over on your bike, WTFE!

I'm glad you liked it! I remember seeing the original series when I was a little girl, but never really got into it. I didn't appreciate William Shatner until I was in my 20's... OMG is he a funny man. I have seen the previews for this latest installment, and I'll admit, I'm pretty excited to check it out!

I do this too - allow myself to eat things I usually avoid all together. I'm not very regular about it though, so it might be one meal or a whole day whenever... It works well for me, because then I don't really crave the carbs so much.
