I'd like to say...WDF? Chicken fried steak? So a caveman got some eggs that he happened upon, and then milked an animal that he chased down, he gathered some almonds and milled them into a flour with whatever tools he had. Then he soaked the chicken and found a way to deep fry? Right.

Mr. AdamMac, Please understand that there are many many people that are affiliated with the FDA who are also making money on producing aspartame. Also, yes I know there are "credible" studies that show aspartame is harmless, but have you personally read the review articles and the findings of each experiment? If you happen to have time to read them, they are skewed to favor aspartame. In one particular simple experiment 2 groups of mice were used, a group that recived aspartame in food and one control group. After the findings showed that 80% of the mice eating food with aspartame had tumors...the scientists(FDA) could not release the data because it went against their product. So, what they did was they put aspartame in the control groups food as well and concluded that tumors were just a normal occurrence.
Before you debunk me, dig a little deeper and don't believe everything they tell you ;)

Read carefully, At no point did I say do not help. I merely said that dogs require a lot of attention and care. I also believe that yes people have big apartments in New York, and yes a little lap dog, or a medium sized dog could possibly live happily and ignorantly in a box. How happy could you be if all you knew was a box, and this box could be all sizes, but never the less it is a BOX and NOT the wilderness where animals belong.
I firmly believe that a retriever of that size will not be happy in an New York City apartment of any size, because it takes the animal away from nature. It doesn't matter if you board your dog in a doggy day care everyday, you take it for walks in central park, non the less the animal was created for human pleasure, and it is a pet for our enjoyment.
But once again, I did not discourage anyone from adopting these puppies. Please read carefully before you spin your own negative connotations.

Hahaha. Great! But make sure you wear your glasses at home or when you're not going out, because your eyes really need to breathe. Take it from me.... im constantly out and i tend to over wear my contacts and have to use RX steroid drops for a week and not wear contacts[and i have a HIGH prescription and my glasses are really big and dorky]
