Doing it for Non-profit purpose is fine but many has abused it for years which is why we, Deaf people, has to protect our language because it belongs to us (our primary language). Other factor is portraying signs in music video and calls it ASL is NOT ok. To respect Deaf community, do NOT use ASL term to define non-ASL usage in the videos. I could go on and on about how hearing instructors overtake paid position on teaching ASL when qualified Deaf instructors were denied employment. Don't believe me? Ask NAD for supporting facts and you will be surprised.

To the point, I believe the song is not relevant to deaf people but to a a boy who's mentally blocked from hearing and seeing so naturally he was perceived as dumb like others just many perceived us as. Since Pete Townshend wrote the song with no reference to us, I think he should be educated as Bobbie suggested.
