Im just reading this, and I know Im late, but I wanted to comment anyways, lol.

Yesterday, I was having a tweet convo with some folks about BDSM and how sometimes folks who have been abused in the past incorporate that abuse into their sex lives and actually enjoy it. I mentioned that I never ever thought that Id be into choking strangulation because that was my stepmothers and my ex's thing to do to me.

Im sorry, but when Im trying to have fun, I dont want any flashbacks! And I have never liked anyone to put anything around my neck ever since those periods of my life.

But, if Im being honest with myself, I do think Id enjoy a rape scene, and youre talking to a woman who has been the victim of sexual violence a few times in her life!

So, yeah I guess positive transmutation can happen in people.

Well, I live in Washington, DC, which is mostly Democratic. I didnt vote yesterday because the winners had already been chosen during the primary in September. Plus, I am feeling a bit of voters malaise lately anyway because, being a DC resident, our votes dont mean much anyways.

Our congressperson and Senator dont have votes in Congress, so.... As I stated above, all I could vote for was Mayor, congressperson, Senator, and school board representative. All other offices (council member, ANC representative, etc.) werent up for election this year.

Am I sorry? A wee bit, because I always thought voting was important. But the older I get, the less certain I become.

There is nothing wrong with not having sex. As a woman who has written openly and honestly about her sex life, including swinging, I can tell you that there is nothing wrong with having sex or not having sex. At this time in my life, Id prefer a relationship as well, and havent had sex in over 2 years.

Youve got good instincts; I never let anyone do anything for me that I wouldnt do in return. Yeah, I like a nice egalitarian relationship, lol. But heres some general dating advice: You should offer to help pay something on the first date (and possibly the ones afterwards). Life is hard, this economy is tough, and folks should be ready to pull their own weight. And, in my opinion, any time a man gets into your house, hes going to try to get into your panties, so dont let them in, if you dont want to smash!

Id love to tell you to read relationship websites and books, but I cant really think of any that I would recommend, lol.

I found this post to be very interesting. I have dated many gay/bisexual men in the past, both knowingly and unknowingly. The man I respected the most is one like your friend here, I knew up front that he was into men, and he was very honest about it. After dating (and even being married to a man) before finding out about their sexual experiences with men, I found his honesty very refreshing!

In every marriage/relationship there are compromises. In this instance, there might have to be a lot of compromises, but he just might luck out and find someone special, and commit to building a life together.

I love those pics - he is so handsome!

Well, once i figured out how to schedule posts, Ive kinda-sorta been doing this, lol. Some of the posts in some of my series' are scheduled. Others arent, but thats just because Ive been really lazy the past two weeks. Ive also been scheduling tweets on Twitter, too. Id love to be able to schedule posts on Tumblr, but I havent figured out how to do that yet, lol.

I just love the idea of writing/assembling posts for a few hours, and spacing them out over several weeks - its genius!

Ive been on Twitter for a few months now, and I dont know if its led to more traffic on my blog. I would try to check my traffic on Google Analytics, but it seems I out the code in the wrong place, and I cant figure out how to correct that.

If anyone can tell me how -and be extremely descriptive about it cuz Im really not tech savvy - Id really appreciate it!

Doing this challenge, and the work I did before the challenge began, I have learned that if I want my blog to be successful, I have to actually think, analyze and plan. Think about subjects, about what I want to get out of my blog. Plan topics, posts, and research them if I need more information about the subjects. I havent gotten around to analyzing my blog: what posts people like, where my traffic is coming from, because I just signed up for Google Analytics, and Ill be honest, I cant figure out how to use it, lol.

Yes, I admit that Im not good with technology. In fact, I can already tell Im going to have problems with Day 7's challenge already, lol.

Anyway, Im still on board, so watch out for me!
