However, I am one of those owners whose dog barks in the back of the pickup. She is not mean in any way just deaf. We have tried all sorts of ways to try to get her to be quiet with no avail. I know listening to a dog bark is annoying, I too get annoyed. I have weighed the situation and if she were agressive I wouldn't allow her to be with me in public. She is 14 years old and loves going for her rides. I am a domestic violence (DV) survivor myself and the community here has always looked the other way. Hopefully with the brother who killed his brother and this, people will start relizing that DV is everywhere we look and it does happen here. We have a major problem and if everyone, including the courts keeps letting these people walk the streets without proper punishment it is going to continue. This woman is very lucky to be alive. As for the man, he probably saw that the brother is only getting 5 years for killing his sibling so he thought he'd probably get away with it! Someone needs to do something! Any ideas, let me know.
