I feel the pressure from my parents (especially my father who sacrificed a starting-to-flourish career in a science research field to come to America for grad school and then he had to completely change his career for financial reasons) to do my best. My mother has "strongly suggested" medicine since I was 7, and it's been almost permanently ingrained in my mind that my career options are medicine, law, or business.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After years of thinking those three were the only possible options, I'm starting to doubt any of them are "right" for me, and it's such a scary feeling.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Best of luck in your freshman year.
