Bravo. I like the notion of temporary scaffolding and well, that's exactly what we're all doing isn't it. Putting some of those big pipes and a bit of that wiring up, seeing if the client likes it and then reassembling to how they want it. We're malleable beasts. Although I can't be certain.

PS - through some sort of magic, see if you can make commenting text white on the black background when writing. It'd make my eyes happy.

Re: Google+. I took a view over the last few months to forget about all that stuff and just focus on the good stuff. (I lost my Google PageRank when I moved the blog to litmanlive.co.uk/blog)

I'm experimenting with the auto post feature on Posterous which then feeds through to Wordpress. Its a bit hit and miss and on occasions its posted things twice, not at all, or with weird formatting. So this post was something I originally saw via Posterous, hence the crediting of the via at the end. I'd say that offering credit is attributing the source. If that credit wasn't there, it would be akin to plagiarism, which obviously isn't something I condone.

So while maybe a year ago I was quite prissy with the content that was on my blog, I now feel that there's so much cool stuff out there that I want to 'share' that I wouldn't necessarily have the time to individually write about. That's just an evolution of how I use the blog. Before it was solely content creation, now there's more of an onus on content sharing.

The more lifestream approach I like from a visual point of view too. http://www.litmanlive.co.uk got a nice write up by @wadds here http://j.mp/dqsRSw

Re: Why people actually fan your brand on Facebook

Curation innit. I see it as a change in habits and lifestyle by not cataloguing memories as much anymore.. Or maybe we do, but it's not as long term.

So this is something I've been thinking about recently too. We don't print out images on our camera any more. When I was back home recently for a weekend, dad took me through a load of old family photo albums from when my brother and I were younger. It was nostalgic, it captured the memories perfectly. I think it's a shame now with the way things have gone digitally with cameras we lose memories because of the more throwaway nature of it all. If you don't take the photos off your camera they are in a way lost forever. Then there's the case of taking all your photos off the camera, putting them on to your computer and your hard drive dying. With the HD dying, those memories do too.

I like it how Polaroid seems to be reinventing themselves, getting Lady Gaga on board etc because I like the concept. Instantly printed photos. But the photo quality isn't as good as say your conventional 8MP+ digital camera. If Polaroid teamed up with Carl Zeiss and did some super sweet instantly printable photo camera I'd be there like a shot.

Re: Ok, without a doubt my favorite Macbook “Apple” Decal (sticker) Yet. And it sometimes means we have to work longer, later and harder because we like the distractions.

It's interesting perhaps the order in which priorities are placed in the image and where your eyes are drawn to first.

1.
