It's bad enough that these manwich-stuffed suits parade around all day on the golf course boastfully bragging, smearing co-workers and employees with the stink of their asshole lifestyle, but then, cuz golf is, apparently, too boring, they have to make things more exciting by despoiling pristine land with he filth of their product, or enjoy the demise of 25 lives, grinning to themselves, "saving all that money on prevention was so worth it," they muse.

Get a fucking life, corporate-types.

Legislating and Litigating has become a resource battle, which 'the people' can not compete in adequately. Maybe we can come up with an alternative? Like telling stories that resonate with others in like mind. For instance, they don't have to be n\'news' stories, but they can explain daily events, like mythologies so we don't need to waste time fact-checking. I think the world has turned and has no time to read anything dull and depressing. Our stories would include the libertarian bent, which circles our way anyhow. Someone, Please? Make it right, make it good, make it ours and theirs, make it real or keep floundering. Be creative and don't think about the poison of personal Gain. Time is a commodity we can't afford to waste at this juncture, in this game.

Jeremy, I almost twittered this, but I think this message ought to be a little more private. I think that you are being wasted by the Pentagon. What I mean, really, is that your time and resources, and I don't know why I keep bothering with you sir, but, your valuable time which would generally be committed toward informing the savviest of lefties of the latest important trends is being siphoned off by your own enemy. Therefore, it is better not to hold enemies and let them manipulate you (ie. Pentagon, State Dept., etc.). Although discernment is often complicated. Anyway, you're an awesome journalist. And I hope you got my FaceBook message yesterday where I proposed a real threat to the planet. Have a good day,

Sounds like a typical business decision to me. Maybe they're looking for alternatives for when they lose their gov. contract.

Cuz, hey! One cannot count the number of 'christians' heading to the area with evangelical aspirations. It's their calling--gotta save those poor souls before the glorious end times grace the planet...So, clearly there's a market for the Blackwater thugs.

And another reason why the debate about whether torture elicits valuable information is a 'side show' is that the true point of torture was (in this case and many others) to TERRORIZE, silence and otherwise keep Iraqis in line with the occupation's agenda. Torture works as an anti-democracy vaccination.
