Predictions of the very worst doom-and-gloom are bread and butter for today's press. It's too easy to get caught up in it all...

A recession is a horrible thing - and I know America still has painful memories of last century's depression - but it's unlikely to be anything like as bad as that.

And while things may get a bit more financially stressful, it won't last forever!

Smile, David - it's not worth your being down in the dumps about it :-)

Liam

Re: iScrewed

Totally right. The iPod line has now matured. Unless we see a radical new model, we'll only get evolutionary (as opposed to revolutionary) upgrades to little bits here and there; a tweaked menu; adding genius; an added accelerometer; more colours in the SKU lineup. Yawn.

I'll buy a new iPod when Apple makes the next revolutionary step. Until then, I'm locked-in to buying a new iPhone every year! LOL

Re: Twitter.com drops half of it's user friends/followers

I just checked and found I've "lost" approx 60-70 from both Following and Followers. Sigh.

I do love my Twitter. Which is weird, given how flakey it is...

See you on there, David :-)
