And possibly transfer funds/etc. to more secure non-US location, not necessarily UK.

This election jarred my thoughts - I thought there would be long decade of 1930's type deleveraging. But this week I wonder if 1930's Europe with its right wing politics might be more the model. Between 9/11 and two stock market crashes in a decade, there are huge fears and questions in the minds of most Americans who had been very secure for decades.

But more to the point is that the US seems to lack any real leadership with sound future looking policies not to mention the inevitable gridlock which will result from this election.

Re: Archived Repost - The Contrarian: I Am But Him - The Contrairian (28 Sep, 1998)

No fear, everyone knows that no one puts all their 'secret indicators' out in public.

Re: Archived Repost - The Contrarian: I Am But Him - The Contrairian (28 Sep, 1998)

Maybe when you get a chance, you could write up that 'super secret indicator' for us, share the glory after the Giants' glow!!

Re: Waiting For Waves

In SF we found something that worked yesterday.

Re: Time For A Hail Mary

FT discusses the range-bound market and what might make it change - forex

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/7...

Re: No Frills Friday Road Map

For Bob the horse, the latest Greed and Fear newsletter by Chris Wood reflects your opinion of the markets or rather seconds it or rather is on the same page...whatever....quoted here:
http://siliconinvestor.advf...

Re: Harry Boxer's Charts of the Day

The Chinese are the Jews of Asia, it has been said.

Re: Charting Stakato

From CNBC weekly set-up:

"Forex.com's Brian Dolan said German and euro zone ZEW investor and business surveys are released Tuesday and should show a decline that will get the market's attention. He said he expects to see more euro weakness in the coming week, and the trend in general remains lower for risk assets.
"The world cup is going to be a bit of a drag," he said Friday afternoon. "Afternoons like this are going to be the norm for the next two weeks.
