It's easy! You just need to sign up for Lijit, install our search on your blog and then you can apply for our ad network. This can be done by creating ad tags on the 'Ad Wijit' tab, located on the 'Wijits' section of your Lijit account.

You're correct. If you log into your Lijit account, click on 'Account' at the top and then choose the 'Earnings' tab, you'll see what you've made with us. And this is all your money...

We only search blog post content, but then will display all comments associated with the posts that show up in the search results. This is useful when deciding whether or not a search result might be relevant or useful.

We're still working on being able to search comment content.

Rob,

To further clarify the answer to your first question, we don't search comment content yet. We search blog content and then display the comments associated with each blog post.

And to answer your second question, your content only gets displayed when someone does a search on your blog. So if you're using Lijit and someone does a search on your blog, then if you have any Intense Debate comments mentioning that search query, then that comment will be displayed under the 'Content' tab in your search results.

Rob, as long as you're using a third-party commenting system AND you have Lijit installed on your blog, then you don't need to do anything else to see comments displayed. When you do a Lijit search, you should be seeing a link that shows you how many comments each post has. You can click on this to see the comments.

To answer your second question, the reason that we ask for your ID username is that we index any posts where you've commented (on other blogs) and serve those up as search results under your 'Content'. This is cool because you're creating content when you post comments anywhere and now those are searchable with Lijit.
