The problem that effects both parties is that social security was not designed to be extra pocket, or "flash money" for rich people with retirements. It was designed for people who worked their entire lives and had nothing to show in return. Of course, that would be a joke for either party to sell that idea to the rich people.

While this type of offduty police behavior is not unheard of, where is the MTA security camera footage, the passengers harassed and bullied by the revelers, and lastly, the civilian cellphone video. I've been looking and I can't find any.

If he was protectng other riders, wouldn't, or shouldn't they step up and defend him.

And of course, the common sense thing, would be for MTA to have the foresight to recognize that special, or sports events release crowds that should have been monitored in the first place.

Or, maybe not?

No threat to my feelings.
Many icons, are merely that; recognized representations.
My posit is while it has been successfully replicated, that by itself proves
nothing.
The good these later efforts accomplish, is give people pause to question
accepted perceptions of history, which continues to evolve even at this late
date.

While I am old, I still enjoy watching the first expressions of children,
their wonder and curiosity when first confronted with the many different
religions icons.

Many things are discovered, realised, or awareness taught, all for the good of mankind.
In this age, where the truth means nothing; because if it exists, it runs afoul of manmade law, which does not take truth into account when it runs afoul of "procedure."
If this "object" does nothing else than calm the anxiety of one, thousands, or millions, and only motivates something good, or simple awareness of good, then this "scientist" has really accomplished something.
He has denigrated all higher powers, the understanding of the universe, world governments and economies, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and everything representative of there being something more than man.
I hope that not one baby in the world starved, so this man could satisfy his destruction of something higher than man, and only represents a possibility of something good for everyone.
