Here's an interesting stat: in 2000, 88% of Muslims voted for bush, in 2004 61% voted for bush, in 2008, it dropped to 18%, in 2012 it was 11%.

It's all accurate and verifiable. In 2008 the Muslim support collapsed Because of all the Muslim bashing by the GOP. The reason Muslims voted so overwhelmingly for bush is because they agree on social issues with the religious right.

There are radical Muslims that account for about 20% of the population. But some of the Muslim bashing by the gop the congressional hearings by Peter King, made the other 75%-80% of secular Muslims leave the gop. I think there could be a balance struck. Look how supportive the gop is of Jewish causes and Israel while less than 20% of Jews vote gop. I'm just saying. We had upwards of 90% of the Muslim vote in our corner 2 cycles ago. This is ironically an area where I happen to agree with trump. We should cut foreign aid to all countries including Israel. There is no reason why we should be giving welfare to other countries.

We will get slaughtered with trump. Trump is NOT even trying to win. He refuses to fundraise. He refuses to build a ground operation. Now he is pushing for gun control! And even the NRA is threatening to rescind the endorsement. If a democrat was running to purposely lose, would they do anything different? TRump is a big friend of the clintons and he spoke to bill the day he announced his "stalking horse" candidacy. I wouldn't be surprised if after he loses the election he says something like " I was just running to prove how racist and evil republicans are by coming up with the most outlandish proposals. " He is now losing Kansas and Utah (!) not to mention Georgia. His 70% unfavorability is not going to help him. I am all for anybody but trump. If we don't change trump we will be slaughtered in November.
