If you text more than 160 in your text messages to another verizon user then it will send the entire text, otherwise it will cut it short. That's the only problem, so keep track of how much characters you used.

Re: @xvocal A Recession is a Great Place to Start...

My job struggling experience, btw is before this economy crisis...so it's not just now or before, it's tough no matter when you try, it's how you portray yourself to employers whether you're worth keeping or if you're really serious about what you're applying for....I had a guy that came to interview where his cell phone constantly went off and he had to answer it...that annoyed me...and yes we didn't hire him...

Re: @xvocal A Recession is a Great Place to Start...

I hear you Erica, I was once, struggling to find a job too when I first move to NY. It was tough...going from one interview to the next and just hoping you didn't say anything wrong, or hoping you have enough experience to qualify. Sometimes they tell me that I'm overqualified for the position. It took me so long before I landed my engineering job, and at that time, I was pregnant, thank God they were understanding enough and willingly to accept me, and offer me a chance in their company to prove myself that I'm well worth it.

Now with this economy so bad, they have laid off quite a few people in my office. I'm so fortunate to remain. On top of that, they are asking that if I remain with them and go for my engineering degree to get my P.E. license they are willing to give me a raise and pay for my education. At this point, this is my best option. I'm willing to go back to school for Engineering knowing that I have a job secuirty where my employer is desparately bargaining with me year after year to keep me. I should take it to my advantage.

As said, I agree to what Andy said. if you want something bad enough you can get it...it's up to how hard you're willing to work for it, and the ambition in you to drive you to that point. Now a days, people who are procrastinators and just plain simple lazy, are obviously going to bitch and complain because they're not going to get anywhere, but instead point fingers at others, for the problem they are going through.

Re: Vacation Time

Plane definitely...if your time is up, it's up, you can't avoid it....That's the way God has it plan then you can't run...Remember the movie "Final Destination"...exactly what I'm trying to say...

Re: Case of the Terrible Drivers

Yeah andy you'll be my last option especially with my car...lol...you have to learn how to drive a manual with me over the summer...I need to teach you first...and then i'll help you get a car when you're ready. As said, might have to be under my insurance for the sake of you as a new driver and your insurance will be sky high....

On the note of cops and their sirens...they normally over-abuse their authority and think they can do whatever they want and when they want to. This is where people get so irritated and sometimes not even care for their sirens going off anymore. Drivers who intentionally ignores the ambulance though is irritating. They continue driving without pulling aside for them to pass through...does patient near their death bed ever ring a bell in their head...I mean come on, what if it was you in that ambulance, wouldn't you want them to get to the hospital as soon as possible, especially if you had a limb cut off or something that needs to be reattached within a certain amount of time...treat every ambulance and firetrucks as an emergency when they have their sirens on...cuz honestly, when they don't have an emergency, they rather relax than rushing to places like cops do...cops on the other hand, majority of the time, just cruise around and hoping to find someone they can write a traffic violation of some sort....

Re: imPHOreal!
