I went to the Women's March in DC this year, and it felt like a Democratic Party campaign rally.  I'm left of center but it felt deeply uncomfortable - not only because there were women there who do not identify as Democrats but because the Democratic party itself has a long, long way to go, and the smug self-congratulations and assumption of support was troubling.
