Who has the money to fight that guy in court? not even Forbes. I know his book, Godfather of Kremlin, too. And I know, too, that Berezovsky tried everything to stop it and couldn’t. Everyone who Berezovsky felt crossed him (and he felt that way a lot, almost about everyone in his proximity) was murdered. And in every grizzly case that occurred - Listjev, Paul, Politkovskaja (although in her case, quite a few wanted her dead, most likely Kadyrov), Litvinenko, Yushenko’s poisoning – just to name a few amazingly Berezovsky was involved in one way or another. His partners as well as adversaries turned up dead one after another. He is not much different from other oligarchs, he was just more prolific and in my view, psychotic. And frankly, again, I can’t care less if Corleone kills Brandzini, if Gambino kills all his bambini, if Khodorkovsky does time or doesn’t, or how long Gambino did his for his tax evasion. That Paul, Anna and Listjev were murdered is horrid. That the cases are not getting anywhere is even worse, that nobody cares about it is worse yet; and it is utterly appalling to watch Berezovsky being treated as if he were a normal human being. No, I do not have any information beyond my knowledge that Berezovsky hated Paul, that he tried everything to stop him and that everyone Berezovsky hated (who did not have bodyguards as good as his) was murdered.

Re: Politkovskaya retrial

The oddest thing: in none of the writing (NYT) or yours recently is it mentioned that Lapin and Kadyrov swore they would have Anna killed; that both Listjev and Klebnikov were assasinated while reporting on Berezovsky. Paul accused Berezovsky of murdering Listjev, and was promptly murdered as well. It is some feat to write pages and pages without mentioning these central things. Some very serious slalom going on around big f... elephants. Keep wondering why. Only dark thoughts come to mind.

Re: Politkovskaya retrial

if i may presume to advise, try to reach Paul's editors. They knew what Paul was working on.

As to Berezovsky dislikes, well ... most of them ended up dead. One after another.

Re: Politkovskaya retrial

Hello,
Both Paul Klebnikov and Vladislav Listjev were murdered while reporting on Berezovsky. You do not mention it in your blog in the NYer. Why? Seems like a key issue.
