This makes sense until you consider the fact that, unless I am very mistaken, most medical record software (ERM) is developed for Windows. Sure, you could also bundle in VMWare or BootCamp, but if it is just the form factor you are after, wait a while and others will catch up. Changing from one medical software suite to another is no easy task. The risk of changing OS's will definitely play against Apple in this case. Cool Idea, though.

I have actually been looking a lot in to straight HTML5 and JavaScript. With the "canvas" tag and improved JavaScript and media support, writing code native to the browser is more and more appealing. It still has a long way t0 go, but with things like Google's Chrome Frame even users stuck with IE6 will be able to use this new technology. I do wonder, however, how we ever imagine all the browser makers will settle on a spec for device and media playback. They can't even agree on a simple "header" tag.

I am sticking to Flash for now, but lately I have been decidedly over it. Thanks for the comment.

It was a widget development company. We didn't really specialize in syndication or promotion as much as we were a creative/development shop for hire. So not really like Widgetbox or Gigya though we did use those services with our clients.

Currently it is based on whoever made changes last wins. So if we are both
in the same note and I edit it and it saves then you edit it and it saves
only your version is kept. For a temp solution I am thinking about adding a
diff and if something major has changes since you saved last it will make
you refresh. Your changes will be lost, but at least you won't overwrite
someone else's.
