I still love to imagine that someone will pick up the ball and run with it to finish the trilogy. The death sequences were fitting to me, and far better than having to start a section over from the last save point and run the same fights over again to get where I was.

Re: Why the Camp Pendleton Cross Needs to Come Down

That's precisely what I wanted to point out: you cannot just wander onto a military base and prop the thing into place. They had to have been given access by, if not explicit permission from, someone who should be held accountable.

Now, if all religions were allowed to place an out-sized symbol in the same area, including pagan beliefs and a non-religious memorial as well, the problem would go away. But does anyone believe that likely to happen?

Re: Jheri Curl Fridays 08: “Let It Whip”

I'm so jealous! My first concert was Neil Diamond when I was eight. Thanks, mom!

Posts like this are why I love Popdose. I'd totally forgotten how much I love this song.

Re: Popdose Flashback ’91: Big Audio Dynamite II, “The Globe”

As a punk AND disco fan, Big Audio made me a very, very happy person. And now my little ones dance to The Globe as much as I ever did!

Re: Soundtrack Saturday: “Tapeheads”

All you had to say was, "Here's a movie with two iconically-weird actors that found a way to use Put Your Hand inside the Puppet Head" and I would have begged for the soundtrack. ;)

Re: The Nineteenth Day of Mellowmas: Archiemas!

If only I could find a way to play all Mellowmas songs (on random repeat) for the folks at work when I'm not here. Do you have any hacking tips for me, on how to make Windows Media Player un-turn-off-able? I have been downloading the worst of the worst this holiday season, in order to be prepared for 2009, and Betty seeing Veronica doing Santa Claus is officially on the list.

Re: 01 Burning Down the Hard Rock Cafe

Here I've linked to this page and it doesn't show on the list below! That's how I ended up over here at The Tiger Beat! It's handy especially for technical questions on blogging and templates.
