I agree with the other comments, given that it's a pedestrianised street with cafes, why not just plant a row of trees with benches underneath? This is just another piece of street furniture that is visually polluting...The cynic in me would say that eventually the space on the side would be used for advertising. At least make the structure more organic in appearance rather than just a large box.

They'd better hope that button doesn't get hot when the stove is lit. To close the door again you'd need to push the door with your hand. Stove's have a handle to open and close the door for a reason.

We recently visited this during a trip round Iceland. A nice building that has unfortunately been ruined by some horrendous signage.

I find it frustrating that people provide architectural criticism of a building such as this by viewing a handful of images on a screen. Perhaps wait to pass judgement until you've visited and experienced the building for yourself.

I think the community is being unfair on this project. It's about adaptability and ease of disassembly for those that may need to move more frequently. There are caparisons to Ikea but with Ikea, once it's assembled it's difficult to disassemble for moving.

With this, it would be a case of breaking down the furniture in to panels that would be easily transported. I like its simplicity and the modular system of joints and legs could be used with any pieces of wood that have been purchased/found by the user to create new pieces of furniture.

Best thing I did was to get a powerline ethernet adaptor. Plug it into the mains near the router, then another in the area where you you have a blackspot

What a ridiculous article. To say that “the system” worked pretty well in Rodger’s case. is grossly insensitive. This man had clear mental health problems and was able to purchase firearms. The truth of the debate is that had he stayed in England he would not have access to the weapons that made this attrocity so bad.

I think increasing taxation on buy to let landlords based on the number of properties they own. We visited a rental property that was one of a portfolio of 150. With the buying power the landlord is able to add to the portfolio at an ever increasing rate removing property that would overwise be available to owner occupiers.
