I had to get another Facebook page today (I can't even count how many that is). So I've finally bit the bullet and signed up for a pro-HootSuite account. Hopefully this will help me get it all under control. I completely agree with you about batching. I do it so much more efficiently if I can schedule posts once a week in a big chunk. I don't schedule content from my personal account, but from my brand accounts I think it's perfectly acceptable. Thanks!

Re: The Rise of #RoCur — Nicole Jensen

I had no idea that #RoCur was what we were called it. Awesome.

Am looking forward to @WeAreBrisbane, as think it's a great idea to feature ones city.

In relation to region/location #RoCur accounts, I occasionally like to use my suburb in my tweets (though hashtag only), in the vague hope that someone else can tell me why the sign post at the end of the street is bent. I dream about being able to have locally based conversations around the mundane of what's happening, or the exciting, like the time we protested the council removing some trees last month. Alas, my suburb isn't quite there yet.

Another excellent example of well done #RoCur is @IndigenousX, which now has also a partnership with the GuardianOz, with a write up of each host each week.

I suspect though that Twitter is much more amenable to #roCur than Facebook. iX hasn't taken off on Facebook in the same way. Speaks to the uniqueness of each platform I guess, and a reminder that not everything works the same way.

Re: Does being body positive mean you then become unhealthy?

Interesting. I read this article quickly when you posted it and as I logged into tonight, I had assumed there would be a whole lot of discussion. "Body" stuff can definitely bring out the haters.
Thanks for this post. I'm over 40, and "body" stuff has been an issue for me forever. Only in the past 10 or so years have I kinda got a grip on it all. Rather than being crippling with self-doubt, I've learned to say f-it, and wear what I want, when I want. I'm no fashionista, but I LOVE some of the fatshion out there. It's inspiring.
I'm really happy that I've discovered body positivity, fat activism, positivity. It's done me the world of good in feeling and being good in myself and my skin. And funnily enough, it's also got me moving (ie. exercising) more than I have in twenty years. Good on you for sharing your experiences and your ideas. Am grateful.

Re: kate says stuff: Shut your mouth.

I understand how you feel in this situation. It's so rage-inducing. I find that there's a real helplessness, particularly when things happen at school and you have to basically go through the school gate-keepers. And you're never sure that the message gets through to the other parent. You just want to shake them and get them to think about what kind of person they're being, and what kind of example they're setting. Such unbelievable inhumanity. And I bet she thinks she's a "good" person too.

Re: {Giveaway} $100 Coles Voucher – Fight the carbs with Cruskits

Ricotta cheese and smoked salmon

Re: The Blonde Ink Monthly

Awesome! Rhianna was just talking about hand-pitting cherries. You guys are too awesome. I hand-carved the ham. I wonder if that counts? ;-) http://rhianimate.wordpress...

Re: My Week in Pics

Did I already say I was going to steal this idea? Not that it's a bad thing. I remember all those milestones - meeting, dating, sleepover, move in, marry, babies etc... seems so long ago. I guess it was long ago - it was twenty years ago. And yeah, it's really hard work, but it's definitely worth it. And after twenty years, so many of those "major issues" become forgotten - gigantic relationship boulders become grains of sand over time. You'll probably look back at this post and laugh before you know it.

Re: Help me pick three to submit to Curvy!

I really like Neatly Daily.... I have a mess of hair that I've learned to love since turning 40. All beautiful work though. Best of luck.
