It's so crazy because we always eat like this when we get together, special occasions, weddings, etc. And you're so right. I love having meals with my family. There's nothing like it.

But that first night we had dinner and that nasty little waiter was complaining about his tip was a first. I'm notorious for over-tipping, but even I would've been hard pressed to give him 10% that night. So yes, I agree there are advantages to carrots and apples...but then I wouldn't have had such a memorable experience.

You are sooo sweet. I've been going through withdrawals from your posts. I love your daily contributions. Quite honestly, I'm in AWE of you=)

My work has me very sadly neglecting my beloved blog, however, the time off has turned up a few ideas that might be fun in some upcoming posts.

And those ketchup chips are insanely delicious for those of us that like dill as well as salt & vinegar type chips. You must go or I'll have to add you to my list of people to send a bag to next time I head up to Canada (which is quite a bit further for me at over 1,200 miles.)

K, now for some more ketchup chips and to settle in with catching up on a months worth of your posts...

It's been so long my friend...been gone a long time and had yucky computer viruses that chopped me off at the knees again...so I finally am covered (I believe (again)).

Anyways, been working like a maniac so not much time to hang out with you on Twitter, so keep me posted. Next time I go to Canada, I'll bring back a dozen & ship them off to my favorite peeps. Might be about 5 years tho, so don't let me forget. But they're really yummy. Fritos BBQ=ugh.

Thanks about Grandma. She's starting to lose her memory so we're going to have to visit her more often. I am grateful to have at least had her in my life. My other grandparents died too young.

I got to spend some quality time with my dad on the drive back, so I got the scoop on tons of stuff I've always wondered about like how his dad died, more details about his arranged marriage with mom, and more war stories.

So yeah, I understand when you say you do what you can. You appreciate your family NOW so you work towards building a stronger one NOW. I can respect that.

Have you been working on your blog more? You had mentioned that last chat...

I'm not familiar with ASO. However, let me know if it's like GoDaddy's hosting...meaning, is it c-panel based or non-cpanel based since they have different steps to accomplish a successful move.

I think it's all about what drives and motivates us. I work like a mad
woman because the time I spend with my family is so awesome, I want
MORE of it.

I've been around so many people who 'want' to strike it rich yet will
not take any action steps. What I've also learned is that highly
successful people make quick decisions and act quickly. Follow
through. No excuses. No bullshit. Just do it (swoosh!)

I believe you're the type of guy who can do ANYTHING you're motivated
to do. Just gotta find that pressure point.

Hey Pheak! My computer is really sick and I'm getting it looked at so it's hampered my ability to get as much done as normal, so sorry for such a delayed response...I've been missing out on comments and Tweets alike...

I can understand that. My youngest one is in the same boat as your kids, but my 9 year old & I have some interesting conversations about religion and where we (humans) and the earth came from. He's always so good about digging deeper because every answer generates another 5 questions for him. We teach him all of what we "know" and ask him what he thinks. He says he's not sure yet, but that will change soon...

Sounds like a great memorial day. And Father's day is coming up so I hope you have a great time with your fam...and play some 13 for me...ahhh the old days where I could just hang out and play cards with my family for days and not worry about paying the bills - I wish I could be 14 again! LOL

Wow. Isn't it funny what we'll do when we think we're in love? Just the hoops we'll jump through is amazing. I know because I've jumped through a few myself=)

I almost became Jewish for an ex-fiance. I'm glad that I'm still just plain ole Jesus-lovin-Lee without a title (Jewish, Catholic, Mormon, etc.) name in front of it.

So what do you teach your son about religion? Are you & your wife on the same page? Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend=)
