Just because keto relies mostly on fat doesn’t mean eat only bacon, egg, and cheese and no vegetables or even fruit. People are doing cyclical ketosis, jumping in and out and feeding themselves carbs at certain times. People are even doing a vegan and vegetarian ketogenic diet. As a nutritionist, she’s supposed to study this and form an opinion based on more facts than what can easily be gleaned in a simplistic article, otherwise what’s the point of asking an “expert”?

Re: FRIDAY QUIZ: BORDERS

surprisingly 8/10!

Re: Answering Your Questions on Astrology: Relationships, Careers & Religion w/ Sam F. Now, I want to call my friends and family and check up on them. :)

I think a big part of healing (from anything) is being honest and we often aren't honest about being lonely. Getting tongue-tied during vulnerable conversations is an experience I can definitely relate to, and have found some degree of improvement with by just doing it more frequently and taking greater ownership of my feelings, as opposed to feeling a bit insecure in them. Obviously, it's a journey, as so many things in life are, but the more clandestine my feelings are, the lonelier my experience in life is.

Thank you for this reminder.

Re: Operation Kino 129 Review: Which Version Of The Grandmaster Is Actually Good?

I haven't seen the Chinese version yet, but I saw the American cut in the theater twice and just recently, the international version. It was an interesting experience noting the differences between the two. Both were enjoyable to me, but the international version seemed a bit choppy. This is probably in part due to seeing the American version twice, but I can't be sure without watching it again.

Upon first viewing, I was enthralled with the film and its beauty. Ip Man is undoubtedly a Chinese national hero who, according to the legend, definitely deserves crossover appeal. Overall, I would recommend seeing all the versions. I'm not going to spend $40 to see the Chinese version, but when it's available for less, I'll do it. To see the changes made to cater to different audiences, for me, is interesting and informative. The Grandmaster tells so many stories and has the gentleness I've grown to expect from Wong Kar Wai. Loved it!

Re: We Are All Trayvon Martin

These comments are sad and pathetic but less so than those authoring the comments themselves. How is the author racist? What exactly gave you that impression? The fact that she's talking about race? I suggest you all, who know so little, but think you know more read White Privilege, unpacking the invisible knapsack by Peggy McIntosh and read Tim Wise's work.

Obviously, you'll only ever understand racism and white supremacy from one of your own.

Re: Social Networking And Its Impact On Relationships

This is interesting as I just recently had a conversation with a friend of mine who requests the passwords of her boyfriends for the purposes of transparency. I'm all for transparency, openness, and honesty. I don't have a problem with my man seeing what I put on any social network, yet I'm apprehensive about the password thing. Like Mary said, it's all about context. My main concern is insecurity and jealousy. Text is two-dimensional and can easily be taken out of context, so when you go looking for something out of insecurity and jealousy, you're likely to find something--even if it doesn't technically exist.

That said, I'm on the fence about this one.

Re: I slapped the dog piss out of this woman today...

You know, I love Martin's non-violence stance, and typically do believe in it. But sometimes...

That woman was completely tripping and her comments were really out of pocket considering the situation. On one hand, smacking her only reinforces whatever she believes, but on the other hand, what do you do? And what does NOT doing anything do? Saying nothing changes nothing. And what use of logic would cause her to defy her thinking? Probably none considering how irrational she must be based on the specifics you've outlined.

All that said, really, I'm happy your heart's happy and your hand hurts. :)

Re: jelly don't shake like this

lol...she does look like rihanna. hmm...it's the light eyes.
