Industry is free to do whatever it pleases and we welcome competition. But that doesn't mean we can't state the obvious. I simply explained why one competitor is better than another. I'm sure the industry should continue to support free speech, too, and so much the better when there is a source attached to it.

Re: JIM LUFF: Where Does Glassware Go?

@Foiosio All opinions are welcome here. We never said you posted anything libelous or slanderous, and we never deleted any of your posts. I don't know why your posts are not showing up. In our administrative portal, I can see them and have approved them. None of the your previous posts were deleted either. Like I said yesterday, our web department is looking into it. Sorry for the inconvenience but I can assure you that no one (to my knowledge) has been censoring your posts. It's some sort of glitch and we are working on figuring it out.

As a courtesy, let me re-post your original posts:

Foiosio: Wow, $1300 a year! That's 520 glasses or about 43 glasses per month at
$2.50 each. I highly doubt it. Should restaurants then charge us for
broken plates and glasses too, or for spilled coffee on their table
cloth? I think this expense comes with the business, and this is nothing
more than just petty whining, if I may. Why don't you use plastic cups
then, show some real class.

Foiosio: Would you like me to send you $1300?

Foiosio: I anticipate that the next article will about overuse of napkins.

Re: JIM LUFF: Where Does Glassware Go?

@Foiosio the LCT editors have not deleted any of your comments. In fact, our administration portal shows that your first comments have been approved and are considered "live." We aren't sure why they aren't showing up here on the comments page. Our web department is looking into it now. We will not censor anything so long as it is not libelous/slanderous/defamatory because LCT cannot take a legal risk in publishing unsubstantiated allegations and must zap them as soon as they are discovered. Otherwise, this is a free and open forum where discussions/debates are encouraged, but they must be kept civil and factual. Thank you. --Michael

Re: Liberal With The Limousines?

I'm well aware of the entire article. So let's just forget about it, excuse the government, and move on? The bottom line is an administration that touts its superior economic stewardship is using too many vehicles, whether sedans, stretches or SUVs, at taxpayer expense and at a time when many American are needlessly suffering economically. Just one more small example of failed attempts to rein in government waste. Regardless of who allocated funds for the vehicles and when, the budget bucks stop with those in power now. This also is the same administration whose policies have hurt the chauffeured transportation, charter and tour, and business travel industries. As to solutions: flatter, fairer tax rates; big cuts in government spending; Paul Ryan's Way Forward plan; balanced budget amendment; private sector solutions to entitlements; etc. Take your pick. Thanks to cable channels, blogs, and a diverse media spectrum, theses solutions are now widely known and on the table, and would certainly enhance LCT's core industry of small to medium-sized business owners in America.

Re: CA Operator Gets Green Light For More Business - Limousine, Charter & Tour

One comment from "Concerned Operator" has been deleted 9:15 a.m. PDT due to libel/slander nature. LCT cannot take a legal risk in publishing unsubstantiated allegations and must zap them as soon as they are discovered. Operators who have private disputes with other operators and/or affiliates should address them directly with each other or through appropriate mediation and/or legal channels. LCT would like to keep comment posting live and uncensored. Don't make me play Big Daddy and pre-screen posted comments. Please grow up and stop talking smack. -- Martin Romjue, LCT editor

Re: Upload Your Install Contest

This is really cool!

Re: LINDA MOORE: Do Industry Associations Deliver Value?

All comments are showing up now.
