I wouldn't be surprised if this is a entertaining way of heading-off that acquisition. I hope they succeed, as I'd prefer to have a narrower Samsung on the bottom of the market.

There's simply not much fun in it. Which is kind of obvious, given the somewhat less than healthy feelings you seem to nurture for those web tabloids. I wouldn't even bother with them.

Some of those uninspired persons rise to the level of ridicule, and as such they get the dubious honor of being translated into English. The ones who are deserving of such trouble appear in our midst far apart, indeed.

You are, of course, waiting for the next installment of a Gruberesque translation, right?

Not to drop a bucket of chilling water on your thoughts, but I can think of some use cases... But I'll go away before I share them.

And thank you for putting "JS frameworks are the NeWS of this millennium" in my head: it's the first time I articulate that thought clearly, although it's been running in the back of my mind for the last couple of years.

I've rolled my own PXE-boot to NFS-root system, based on Ubuntu & LTSP. Here at The Company we were using a VNC-like terminal with 15, 20 persons per server. Not very responsive, but each user had a full desktop running.

I'm reading between the lines that Citrix runs just the app remotely; am I correct?

PS: Brandon Gleisner reminded me of setting up XDMCP to fall back to another server in a pool...
