He had a set of dentures that were made of Ivory and mistaken for wood. (the darkening of them from staining made them look like wood, so thats where the myth came from). I didn't know about this though. Wow.

The heat we had in DC was DEFINITELY a heat wave. I lived in Florida my entire life, and I had never experienced heat like that in my life... 120 heat index? Not normal! haha

I know this is old, but I just tried it. It was delicious! After the tempeh was done, I sauteed some zucchini, mushrooms, and mache with the rest of the sauce. Then i mixed it together and put it over a little bit of brown rice. It was delicious!

HAHA that comic cracked me up! Personally, I do prefer books, but I am perfectly okay with other people liking the Kindle. I mean, we DO live in an age of technology after all, and I totally respect that there are a million reasons to have one. So go, you!

I lived in South Beach and I found that the majority of restaurants in SOBE are absolutely terrible. Tastier meals can be found in the Gables :)
